I bought this adapter so that I could use a pair if old turtle beaches for my new Xbox one system. They work well. They don't function the way they did on the 360 but at least I don't have to go and drop another 70-100 bucks on a newer pair.

As far as the unit is concerned it worked fine with my Turtle Beach XP500, so I can't complain about that. I wish it was included with the XB1 from the beginning.

This adapter works perfectly- but only with certain headsets. Be sure to do your homework beforehand, because some headsets, like Beats, won't work without another adapter in addition to this.

I have the Turtle Beach Earforce X42 headphones. This adapter works prefectly with them. Zero issues. Plug and play. Just make sure volume is up on chat. First time I used, I heard no chat. The volume was all the way down out of box.

Works well. Took some getting used to the buttons, but allows you to use any headset with microphone you choose with a 3/8" plug. From the cheapest five dollar set to the most expensive, it helps bring the game sounds up close.

Bought as an adapter to the new headset, works well. The sound does have to be balanced between the game and any chat you have going on with other players, turn one up the other automatically turns down. Other than that good buy.

I never used this product because it wasn't needed with the wireless headset I bought. I wasn't aware that the headset was wireless when I bought it, and apparently neither did the salesman.

I tried to use the headset adapter that came with my Xbox 1 turtle beach headset but it would constantly short out. After returning the turtle beach adapter several times, I finally purchased this one. Haven't had any problems since!

Not much to say here, it works well and does exactly what it's supposed to do. It connects to the controller easily enough and feels like it's solidly in there. Buttons are clocky and responsive.

This was very disappointing. We asked questions and heard this would be a good way to go from Xbox 360 to Xbox 1. It did not work as well as we were expecting and ended up buying new headphones.

I bought these to use my Turtle Beach x42. And so far it does what it is supposed to do. The only problem is you either have to remove it to charge your controller or get a charging system that cradles the controller upside down.

Its works very well to fix the static that you might get just use a usb cord to update your control and boom also the volume buttons between chat and party are ausome instead of buying a new control just for the jack size get this

Great concept. That is as far as im going with 90% of the time im trying to play around with it in order to hear my friends talk or balanceing out the game play from chat. Not worth my time

I got this for my Pulse Elite headset. It works well for the job, but the other players complain of a static-y noise when I talk. Still better than spending $100+ for a brand new headset, though.

My son was having trouble with multiple headsets connecting to his XBox One controllers. Once this device was plugged into the controller, the headsets connected and he's now able to play online with his friends.

now I can plug in any headset to my xbox360. Note: depending on the headset you use the mic might not work, what you need is to change the cable from the headset to the controller. good luck but this product does what it suppose to.

I like it. I can control the audio on the game and the voice volume. I bought this for my Beats solo 2 wireless headphones. I had to buy an mic adapter. So It can work with the Xbox one adapter. It works fine.

This lets me use any approved headphones or telephones ear buds for my Xbox ONE and it really works great. I can rais and lower not only game audio, but my mic as well. Definitely a great addition to the controller.

This accessory does exactly what it's supposed to. Comes in handle when hooking up the Xbox to a monitor that does have speakers or when you want to hear the sound closer.

Honestly, I returned the product. As far as I understand all it does is let you change the volume of the chat without pausing the game. I didn't feel it was worth the $25.
