I've tried non Microsoft branded controllers and overall I feel the original controllers are a bit better. I never have any lag or issues with it as I've encountered with non Microsoft controllers. Only wish battery life was stronger, I would recommend getting a rechargeable battery pack with it.

Works great. The only reason I would not rate five star is because I personally like the older controllers better.

Purchased as part of a package (XBox One and two free games). Arrived quickly and worked correctly out of the box.

I am a late comer to the Xbox One world but I come from the 360 and this controller feels natural as I was so comfortable with the 360 design, I was able to adapt to this controller with little effort. I have tried various headphones I already had with and without mics with limited success with any of them working as headphones and the mic on my EarPods did not work, while the pods themselves did.

Really like this controller has a lot of options ps4 doesn't have. For example you can put rechargeable batteries in it on charge them while in the controller or you can put disposable batteries in and change them as needed. And they had a special when I bought this and controller was pretty much free.

For the black Friday price, it was worth getting the second controller I needed. I wish Microsoft would get with the times and just make the controllers rechargeable instead of having to buy it separately, but it's not that big of a deal to me. Controller operates as it should, and that's what matters.

Difficult yo enjoy your new Xbox one with just the one controller that it comes with. Was planning on picking up 2 extras so each of my kids would have one. I ended up grabbing 3 extras when Best Buy had them on sale for $40 each. Watch for sale prices- $60 for a controller seems a little steep to me.

now with this 2nd controller my grandsons can play together instead of having to wait for the other to finish.

When buying this controller, there wasn't much more that I expected out of it. It is the standard controller that come with the Xbox one and which the kids are happy with. It was nice to see them on sale, considering that we needed to buy 2 more and help the kids buy some games to get started to game.

Wireless controller is a must have for any gaming console, even better when you use the rechargeable batteries

Needed a second controller and this works like the original. Batteris don't last long it but are easily replaced

Good Controller but needs to be recharged on a regular basis and the angle has to be right to use with Kinnect

Pretty neat gamepad if you can overcome the fact that the analog sticks will go in the opposite direction when pushed. If you control the stick in the forward position, you will go backwards, Conversely, if you push the stick toward you, you're going in a forward direction! The vibration feedback factor is kinda cool if you like the feel of total excitement in your hands while playing your favorite game. Deduct one star for the inaccurate direction of motion

I prefer to use a wireless controller, it's nice not worrying about the wire to unplug in a middle of a game.

great without wire to use but batteries run down quickly recommend the battery charger and rechargeable batts

I love the design of Xbox's controllers, they are very ergonomic and button setup is great. I would definitely recommend that you get the replacement plan. I've dropped my controller a couple of times from maybe 2-3 ft and eventually its just too much and the buttons stop working properly or the sticks are no longer calibrated properly. The extra cost is definitely worth the peace of mind that I can get a new controller if I have a case of butter fingers.

Nothing special, does what it's supposed to do. Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right, so forth and so on....

The product works as it is supposed to with my only issue being that it goes through batteries very quickly.

Been using it for a while and I'm happy with the feel. Took a while to adjust from my 360 controller though.
