One of the best gaming consoles I have ever owned. This console is by far the fastest and most powerful yet. All I need is a 4K tv to maximize its full graphics.

There really isn’t too much to say about the new Xbox One X except it’s amazing. Coming from the original Xbox one this is smaller and quieter, no power brick which is very conveinient, and this thing has no lag and just screams no matter what your doing. Just got a new 4k tv with hdr for Black Friday and games look incredible. They load quick, and just have amazing detail and lighting. PS4 can’t compete with this beast, it’s the closest consoles have ever come to PC gaming and there is no PC you could build to be as powerful as the new Xbox One X for the same price. If you don’t have a 4k TV games still look better and load faster. While not as impressive as 4K HDR it’s still worth the upgrade just not as much on an older tv. It’s also a 4K movie player unlike the PS4 Pro which is great. The new Xbox has been flawless.

My first xbox console and I don't have nothing but great things to say about it. Coming from a long time PlayStation console player, I can see this console is the most powerful console out there now in the market. I really like the performance it brings to the table, it's really quiet and a bit heavy like a brick. Smaller than the xbox one s and more powerful in graphics. This is well worth it if you have a 4k hdr tv as you will get true native 4k resolution. The game Red Dead Redemption 2 realky looks amazing on this console, but i have to say the HDR is of no use here as it makes it looks washed out when hdr is turn on. So I turn if off. Overall i dont have much negative to say about this console besides i don't like the new home screen layout and the fact that you can't delete some apps on the console like mixer app. I wished Microsoft would go back to the older layout they had before back in 2016 i think. Would i recommend, yes if you have the cash to spare and a 4k. Depends on your opinion and investment in the system, this is a great console to play games on. I waited for black Friday sale to go on and was worth it for the price. You get built in 4k ultra Blu ray player and it nice that you get a none brick power adapter. Another con is I don't like the fact the controller is power by batteries, so with in due time you have to go buy more double AA batteries. I had the console for a week and half now and the batteries lasted me about a week and half maybe. I been constantly playing on the console. In conclusion, this is well worth your money and your time.

      Hey there,

Thank you for sharing your feedback on your new Xbox One X. We're glad that you're enjoying how powerful it is, and that you're enjoying your experience for the most part. For frequent gamers, we recommend investing in a rechargeable battery pack, such as the Xbox One Play & Charge Kit, for the controller. It offers up to 30 hours of battery life on a single charge and can be fully recharged in just under four hours. It can be found on BestBuy.com here: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/microsoft-xbox-one-play-charge-kit-black/9008298.p?skuId=9008298

    Exceeded My Expectations

I am going to skip all the technical jargon about teraflops and GPUs etc. I've owned every home console to date, I agree PCs may be the best option for game performance because I know how technology works, however I will review the Xbox One X for people who don't care about building a behemoth and just want something out of the box to plug and play, if you will. I played my original Day One Edition Xbox One daily, but I found myself running out of room on the 500GB and I would swap out my digital games deleting and re-downloading left and right. I decided to upgrade to the One X instead to maximize my 4K TV experience. The first thing I noticed from the original Xbox one was the removal of the power brick. The Xbox One X system itself was a great deal smaller than the original. Simple hook up with nothing new from any other device hook up. The real difference came after I got my profile and setting pulled over. After the initial setup the system load time was a good amount less than the old system. The fan is super quiet, and the optimized games look amazing. A few games that I play frequently had added detail and different rendering. I will agree that the price is a bit steep for casual console gamers, but if you are a fan of the Xbox One and have a 4K TV it is definitely worth it.

Traded Xbox One for Xbox One X. Zero regrets

If you have a 4K TV get the Xbox One X. I have zero regrets about getting the Xbox One X. Loads faster. Much better graphics on all games, even without an enhancement patch. Works well with all of my accessories, including my Logitech G920 racing wheel. Having the ability to play orignal Xbox games as well as Xbox 360 games is a real plus. The unit is small, runs silently and doesn't get overly warm.

The XBOX One X is great when it's used to it's full potential. I do suggest if you don't have a 4k TV just to get the One S, but the system at 4k with HDR is quite honestly amazing. Games we were playing on the original Xbox are super high definition nice, and it's nice to be able to make out little details you once weren't able to. The price point IS steep, but for what you are getting with the system, you'll not be able to build a PC for the same.

Went from XBONE Elite to this.....

First off, one plug, no brick, is amazing! It is quite heavy which makes me happy that there are actually some decent guts inside this build. It is much smaller than my elite and you definitely want this in open air as it is working hard to produce and gets warm/hot fast. So far so good. Subtle changes noticed while playing CoD WWII. When playing FIFA 18 it was very noticeable as it runs 4K 60FPS. All in all the standard use actions respond much quicker as the process response time is super fast. I am using this on a 55inch Samsung 4K curved if that helps with comparison. I just figured since I already had a 4K TV and that this was XBOX's latest release for at least a few years I would utilize my 4K gaming experience. I'm a fan of it so far.

    Delivers on its promise

Now that the honeymoon period is over, I figured I would drop a little information on the console. First, if you plan on making use of the updates and will install more than 7-10 games, I would suggest an external as the game patches are enormous. This console mostly delivers on the promises of a much more powerful console with 4K and HDR. Its not 4K HDR 60 FPS across all games even with patches. There is a useful list on the Xbox site, but how the devs have patched the games and used the extra power is not 100% consistent. I would suggest using Digital Foundry as they are reviewing the changes in most of the patches games. Onto the console. It feels heavy and very well made. I have had no issues and really think it is worth the money. Outside of this first bunch of games, it will be quite amazing to see what they come up with in the next wave. The power is evident in how clearly the games look and run. If you have 4K HDR tv and dont mind the cost, it is money well spent.

Microsoft has recently released the Xbox one x. It's quickly exceeded my expectations and is my new favorite and most used console. It's quiet, fast, and definitely loads faster than my ps4 pro. Especially the home menu and game loading. While it does play some games in native 4k. I personally just use the performance boost if a game I play supports it. Like gears 4 for example. While I love my ps4. I can't figure out why people continue to claim Microsoft has no good games or exclusives. Most AAA titles are on both systems. While the ps4 definitely has more exclusives, these are mostly exclusives that emphasize single player. Last of us. God of war. Uncharted. The best sony exclusive games that prioritized multiplayer are sadly gone. Like Socom and killzone. I personally play most games for multiplayer. But if you're deciding on a console for games. Play them first. Gears 4 is imo, and I stress In my opinion, one of the best multiplayer games on a console. Find what games you like. And get whichever console you want based off that. Both systems are great. At this time the Xbox one x is better than the ps4 pro for me.

The obvious: 4k graphics updates so far have been amazing. More games will keep coming out and this beats my gaming computer which cost me much more. With a good 4k TV this is a no-brainer upgrade if your a big gamer. The not so obvious: The system is almost dead silent, a nice bonus if you happen to sit close to your xbox. I've never heard the fans even. Also everything loads faster. I load into multiplayer lobbies before others, load screens are noticeably shorter, and the whole system just feels more responsive when switching or accessing home menu items. The bad: Just price, This is really excessive if you dont have cash to spare. I would recommend the Xbox One S for most people unless you have a good 4K TV and good eyesight.

Way more powerful than the PS4 Pro. Amazing graphics and smooth game play. Whoever said we didn't need 4K gaming did not know what he was saying. Nothing better than playing games in your living room with a 75" 4K television Xbox One X Specs, simply amazing. You can read all you want online about the Xbox One X and other consoles (PS4 Pro, etc), but it really comes down to two incentives in my opinion. 1) Do you have a 4K (HDR ready) TV? 2) Are you invested in the Xbox ecosystem (do you own a lot of Xbox/360/One games or content)? If yes to both, then upgrade. As of now, most games don’t have an enhancement update, but I’m sure they will follow. The games look amazing on the X and that’s because they weren’t designed for the X. Destiny 2 for example looks amazing on PS4 Pro, but the Xbox X version looks a bit more polished (Post 4k/HDR update). Plus the UHD player is another seal on the deal to upgrade!
