The X Box One X is one of a kind. You will feel fully immersed in the game as you play. With 4K resolution, the colors are brighter, whites appear whiter, blacks appear blacker with great contrast, and you can see differences in detail that truly bring the image and experience to life. I raced cars with the X Box One X and could see even the tiniest detail, such as the reflection on the car windows that made it even more realistic. If you don’t have a 4K resolution TV, the X Box will conform to 1080P resolution or lower to still give you that amazing experience and bring out the most from whatever resolution you have. At 2.3 GHz, the game can bring you even faster and smoother response times and interactions that feels almost life-like. You will even notice that the games load even quicker. With 12 GB memory you will be able to quickly load your games and experience even greater performance. As I was playing I even noticed that the animations were extremely realistic, from the lighting to the people animations, everything was crystal clear and realistic. The gaming momentum is so quick, that it can reach up to 326 GB per second which is so seamless you will notice the difference between other gaming platforms. What I love most is how great the design is. It has a rich black color, is slim and sleek. It is super innovative and stylish. Now you can pick up your 4K (2160P) games and truly experience them the way they were meant to be experienced. The contrast really comes out with games, offering you greater visual depth. I definitely recommend picking up X box one X enhanced game to experience gaming better than ever. Driving the Forza 7 motorsport game I was able to immerse myself into the game. It feels as if you are really driving a car. The crashes, the movements, the sounds, the lighting, the feel with the controller was all extremely realistic. Dolby Atams and DTS:X offers 3D spatial sound that really puts you in the center of it. You will experience sound as if you are in a 3D Imax movie. The crashes really come alive from the sound and imagery. It is definitely worth splurging on this product for the experience. It is an experience like none before. Add the Microsoft x box x wireless controller, or even the Winter Forces special edition, to enhance your experience. This controller is for the ultimate gamer. The wireless controller offers amazing control as you play the game. The controller is unique and has a super cool color scheme, which is Arctic Camouflage. It functions just like the xbox one x controller, but has a unique look and is wireless. It is amazing quality, with a textured grip, button mapping, and smooth feel. What I like most is that it has Bluetooth technology, so I can move around without worrying about the cord bumping into anything. It even includes 3.55 mm stereo headjack set to connect to any compatible audio headset. With Bluetooth technology, you can play with any PC windows 10 or tablets. My younger brother loves xbox and is super excited to play with this one and by having the wireless controller my parents won’t have to worry about wear and tear, and tangling of his current controller. My brother and his friend are pretty energetic, so they tend to move around a lot and tangle up the controllers. It seems like the life span of this controller will be much greater and they will have twice the distance to move around. This Xbox is a must for any gamer, and even a beginner. I do not play much, but l. With speed and reliability, you can compete, share and connect with others. Purchase Xbox Live Gold and you can get 2-4 games per month! For someone who doesn't have a ton of experience gaming, I loved this console and found it easy to navigate and learn. As you move the throttles, the motion in the game is smooth and not jerky. As you push the throttle faster, it will move the object faster as intended. Very easy for a beginner! You can even join Xbox Live and join the xbox network It is definitely worth the price, and worth it to splurge on this to get the best quality around. I...

This was one of the most interesting of all my BB reviews. First, if you have a 4K HDR tv, this is a no brainer. If you already have an Xbox it will depend on what type of experience you are willing to pay for. Expensive, yes, worth it, definately. Most important about this console is that developers have to patch these upgrades, aka enhanced to their games, Forza, GOW4, Killer instinct will soon have these updates. Huge GB files, be ready for max data plans with on or around 100 GB files, an external drive will be a must due to 1TB maxing out fast. If you have $$ to spend, have a capable tv, and ready to have an external, then this device will suit the 4K, modern non pc experience that only Microsoft can offfer. PS4 pro has nothing on this console.

This console is much improved over the original Xbox One. It is smaller, quieter, and sleeker. There is no external power supply either. Obviously the visuals are superior, and the UI is much more responsive on the One X. I have every current console this gen, all have their strengths and weaknesses. Hardware wise and user experience is by far better on the Xbox One X, and it has the more robust online network. The PS4 has the better library of exclusives, but the Pro is loud and hot and PSN has been an issue for me at times.

I was debating between this and the PS 4 Pro. The deal maker for me was the ability of the One X to control my cable box. I plugged HDMI from the cable box into the One X IN port then HDMI out from the One X into my TV's HDMI port and after a few easy setup steps from within the One X settings, bam! One Guide demolishes the TV Guide offered on my Cable Box and everything works great! One issue I had was I was getting black screens when watching TV or playing a game. After a little research I found it's best to use the HDMI cable that came with the One X. After replacing my high end HDMI cable with the included one, no black screen issues at all. When using the included cable use it as the one that runs from HDMI out on the One X to the TV input. 4K gaming is mind blowing. I have it hooked up to my 4K LG OLED TV and it's simply amazing. Not all games are 4K compatible yet but the ones that are = WOW! Sound is ran from my Sonos system and it sound as it should. Very happy with the purchase and would buy again without a 2nd thought.

The Xbox One X is a great upgrade over the Original and S models. It is even a pretty nice upgrade over the PS4 Pro. Increased resolution and framerate as well as HDR make the graphics pop. Is it worth double the cost of the S? Sure if you are choosing between the two. Is it worth the extra $100 over the PS4 pro? Absolutely if you have a 4K tv. Sure it looks better on 1080p but it's stunning on a 4k tv. Not quite high end PC but it costs a third of the price. I chose this over updating my PC and don't regret it.

    Best Performance Gaming System

Just like the title of the review says, this is the best performance gaming system around. I upgraded from an Xbox One S, and already had a 4k TV but when I compared the differences there is a significant improvement from the last model to the X model in terms of graphics and performance. Games looks beautiful, colorful and even more ultra-realistic and frame rate is very good, it seems very fluid. If you want the best gaming system around then this is for you, and the 4K, 3D, Blu-Ray capabilities and entertainment apps will be a bonus to have. If you just want a great entertainment system solely for the purpose of watching 4K, 3D and Blu-Ray movies with apps like Netflix, Hulu, Hbo etc. then consider getting an Xbox One S.

Great console. It's smaller, but heavier than my original Xbox One, which I'd consider is a good thing. It's also much quieter. I've only played forza 7 so far and it looks amazing on my 4K t.v. Load times are a little bit faster too compared to the Xbox One. I also like that you can put all your games on an external HD and they're ready to play and don't need to be installed. I've only had a couple issues since owning it. First issue was my controller lost connection. The xbox button on the controller was still lit up, but nothing was working. Had to take the battery pack out and put it back in to get it to connect. Second issue is I've had it kick me back to the home screen while it's loading a track on forza or backing out the main menu in the game. Not horrible issues just annoying at times. It's a great console and would definitely recommend it.

I upgraded from a xbox one for the X so i could play in 4K. So far only few games are available for 4k. The xbox is so much faster then the orginal version of the xbox. I must say i like that the xbox is so much smaller and fits nicer on the entertainment stand. If you are looking to play 4k This is the xbox for you. If you don't care about the 4k then i would stick with the xbox one as this i feel is more for you Die hard gamer!!!!

Great Xbox but I got a defective controller, it randomly un syncs itself. Lucky I have until January 14th to return it and get a new one so it's all good. Graphics are AMAZING!! And so is the speed! Recommend it to anyone ps PS4 sucks. It still gets 5 stars because I've had a lot of controllers and this is the first one that ever had a slight issue, and I'm sure I just got unlucky and that the majority of controllers are fine

I used to have the forza motorsport 6 xbox one, and i didn't want to get rid of it, but I went for it and for the xbox one x and it's been quite the upgrade! I immediately noticed graphic differences on the games I play, faster load times, and a smaller system! I still use my ps4 pro and switch, but I will be buying non exclusive games on here now! And the 4k ultra hd blu ray has been really sweet too! Worth every penny!

The Good: 1st off the graphics with a 4 K television is great, the speeds are fast for loading, and navigating through menus. I often find myself already loaded into the game before my teammates are a quarter of the way loaded. Some of that could be due to connection but hey, I'm enjoying it. The finish on the Xbox One X is nice, I enjoy that the brick is now internal, and I like the new external designs. Oh and not to mention the larger storage as well. Now the bad: The controller that comes with it is junk in my opinion, I have an Elite controller and other ones that are better. A week after my purchase Best Buy was giving away free games with Xbox one X purchases and I was told I didn't qualify for a free game (Lame). The Ugly: Well it's not too bad of a price actually, however with the lack of 4 K games right now, and no extra features online, there is no real reason to get this system unless you want that high resolution or you're a professional gamer who needs to have every advantage over the other players (self-defeating in my opinion). I just don't feel it's that worth the price tag at the moment. Will I game on this instead of my other Xbox One.... well duh, but for those who are on the fence about buying one, you might want to consider waiting at this point. At least until they get a few more games or perks to go with it. If they included a free game or choice or even just an Elite controller I would say this is 100% worth it. Until then, maybe wait. Hope I helped.

PlayStation has always been my first choice, but when the pro came out and didn't have a 4k DVD player I was disappointed. For the value and capabilities the Xbox has I am a redeemed fan. Quickly loads and graphics are amazing and I can enjoy the full capabilities of my Tv and surround sound. Can't wait until more games come with the 4k ultra ability. Stoked

Let's get this out of the way, this is still a console, and it won't give you the same gaming experience that a high end gaming PC will. That being said, no gaming PC priced under 750$ is going to be able to run modern games at 4k, much less play 4k Blu-rays, and even PCs priced under 1000 are going to be limited in the 4k department, unless you're a builder who knows how to find parts cheap. If you've got better things to do than fiddle around with PC settings, on a budget, or just don't game enough to justify a 1000$+ rig, but still want to make the most of your new 4k TV, this is the best choice for you. 4k Blu-rays: There's not much to say here, it has a 4k Blu-ray player, and it will play them back in 4k/HDR10. You'll have to install the free Blu-ray app from the Xbox store, but I can't complain about it too much. Only real downside in this department is a lack of settings to fix audio lag, but most TVs and receivers that you'll be plugging this thing into will already have those settings anyways, so it's not a big deal. 4k/HDR gaming: This is the feature that sets the X above its less expensive sibling (the S), which also has a 4k Blu-ray player. The 4k resolution's impact on gameplay is subjective, as most games don't have a huge difference outside of more crisp edges and some antialiasing improvements, but the real game changer is the HDR, and good Gandhi does it change your experience. Keep in mind, I have a Samsung MU8000, so your model of TV may produce difference experiences from mine... But on my TV, the HDR is incredible. Colors are more vibrant, blacks are deeper, whites are brighter, but more importantly... The details stick around. In both bright and dark spots, rather than creating black and white "blobs". This feature has ruined me forever, and it's hard to go back to SDR now that I've seen how amazing it can be. Keep in mind, not all games support 4k/HDR, but the library is pretty big, and it keeps growing, with most big games having 4k/HDR updates. Don't have a 4k TV? If you don't have a 4k TV, I would still recommend this for a few reasons. For one thing, even if you're running a 1080p TV, the extra power under the hood will be dedicated to running the game smoother, with most games hanging out around the 60fps mark. You're going to notice a big improvement in game performance, in fact I run many games in 1080p with HDR just to get those 60 frames. Also, in some cases, games will have better graphics than the standard Xbox one or Xbox one S. A good example of this is Ark survival evolved and the Xbox one X only "enhanced graphics" mode. Another benefit you get even without 4k is some degree of future proofing yourself. 4k Blu-rays will play in 1080p if not hooked up to a newer 4k tv, so you can start stocking up on your media before you decide to invest in a 4k TV. Another great thing about this console is its size, and how quiet it is. It's not only tiny, but thanks to it's vapor chamber cooling system, it's almost silent. The only time I ever hear three thing is if I leave it running in game, and everything in my apartment is dead silent, and even then it's just a light pulsing hum. Bottom line: Contrary to what the PC master race knobjobs will tell you, this is a fantastic piece of hardware, and will give you a gaming experience that similarly priced PCs can only dream of. If you don't care about the 4k HDR gaming, or boost in game performance, and you just want a 4k Blu-ray player, save yourself a few bucks and get yourself the S, which also has a 4k Blu-ray player.

      Hey Jake,

Thanks for your thoughtful evaluation of your new Xbox One X! You made a great point in calling attention to how versatile it is -- it's powerful enough to play games in true 4K with fast framerates and load times while also being a good 4K UHD Blu-ray player. And we agree, people who haven't upgraded to a 4K TV yet will still see big benefits in their overall gameplay experience.

We hope you get a lot of use out of your new Xbox One X.

      Happy gaming,

Wow!!! Just wow!!! This console makes games look amazing! How MSFT managed to pack so much power in such a small package, i have no idea. Xbox One X enhanced games are amazing, especially if you have a really good UHD TV. If you’re into 4k/ HDR gaming, make sure to buy an external 3.0 HDD, that 1TB of storage goes by quick.

Ungraded from a One Elite counsel to the X. (TV4K HDR Sony XBR) All games were digital copies no discs involved. The X does seem to load a little quicker, but not $500 quicker. It does upscale all games to 4K. Can you tell the difference in a non optimized games. No they look exactly the same, if there's a difference I can't tell. There is a list on the XBox website that tell you what games are Enhanced for the X and what games are in the works. So I picked up Forza 7 and CoD WW2. Those are games made native at 4K HDR , not upgraded to 4K. Forza looks INSANE!!! You can see the shadows from the grain in the leather on the "A" Pillar in the Porsche move in real time !! The red stitching in the dashboard leather!! CoD also looks great, but not as high res as Forza. HDR looks good but initially everything looks darker, because HDR allows Full black right next to brighter colors. So need to get used to that. The X is very quiet and the Air is drawn in thru the sides and pushed out though the lower back. Blows very warm air but nothing I would call HOT. All of your One, and One S accessories will carry over, (NOTE this counsel ONLY comes with a controller, power cord, and HDMI cable. IT DOES NOT COME WITH A MIC) if all of your games are on an external HDD its almost plug and play. If you have a "One", You get the FULL 4K HDR upgrades, 4K BluRay HDR, and Native 4K HDR game capability. If you already own an "S" then you only gain native 4K gaming. The counsel size is almost identical to the S. If you have a 4K TV AND it's HDR capable, then you will see visual improvements in games that are "ENHANCED for the One X". Games not enhanced will look and feel virtually identical to a One S counsel. According to Msft the X is meant to be a bigger brother to the S, not a replacement. So if your Happy with you S. I would recommend saving your $$$ until more goes are native 4K and you also have a 4K HDR set to take advantage of them. Almost forgot, the X only comes with a 1TB HDD. 4K games are HUGE !!! Forza 7was over 100GB to DL the Ultimate Edition. CoD WW2 was around 7GB. I have Full DL of the following games and my HDD is 49.2% full. Forza 7, Cod WW2 (Dig Deluxe Ed), Halo Master Chief Col., RB6 Siege, CoD Infinite Warfare, Cod MW Remastered. Yeah if only 396.1GB is free we are over 50% full but apparently the OS is huge if 396 is considered 51% of whats avail to me. That roughly means my space total avail is sliver over 800GB.and the OS is close to 200GB !!! WOW!! Get a few map packs and such and space could get tight quick. Thankfully you can always all an ext HDD later. I would have stayed with my One Elite and been completely happy with it and saved the $500. But I got $XXX for my birthday and Christmas so gifting my Elite to my nieces for "MineCraft" duty.

It's small, yet substantial in weight. Fan is whisper quiet and runs significantly cooler than it's predecessors. Performance? It's unmatched to any console out there. The AMD processor is not only faster than my son's PS4Pro but it runs things as smooth as buttercream. It's just an overall superior machine. Clipping? Gone. Jaggies? Gone. Annoyingly long load times? Gone. Even the onscreen keyboard runs smoother and responds faster. One-S owners won't see too much difference visually, with the exception of enhanced games but should be plenty pleased with the increased performance. Ain't even complaining about the price. It's what you pay at launch if you wanna be among the first. Enjoy! I know I'm happy with mine!

The Xbox One X is a fantastic buy. Almost perfect considering the bang for the buck. 4K gaming with minimal frame stutter is just the tip of the iceberg. For me, it’s the little things that win me over. The UI seems much smoother than the Original or One S, probably thanks to the 12 gigs of RAM. Tomb Raider at 60 FPS is a delight. The clarity is fantastic and the performance is such a joy that I’d have a hard time recommending any other console. The only knock I could put against the console is probably the lack of storage. 2 Terabytes would have been a more solid starting point than 1, especially considering some of the games can reach over 100Gb. Other than that minor set back (Expandable memory is a good option), it doesn’t get any better than the Xbox One X.
