Sometimes you think the reviews about the Xbox One X or exaggerated until see it for yourself, this system is unbelievable. The first few days of ownership alone made me a believer. The performance, even without the benefit of a 4K television; was a night and day difference compared to the original Xbox One. Everything about the system just worked smoother. And the performance in gaming was unbelievable. Quick load times and smooth game play. It's as if this is the system that should have been released originally. And then about 2 days later we purchased a 4K TV, let me just say; it will change your gaming life. Gaming in 4K - HDR10 will make you look at games that you've had for months or even a year, differently. In most cases, you won’t believe you are playing the same games. If you are on the fence, let me tell you; buy this system. You will not be disappointed.

This new Xbox is much better than it's predecessor. I have been playing Destiny 2 since release of expansion and the enhancement to 4k. I own a 65inch samsung and it pooks phenomenally pleasing. I can also say that the load times are much quicker. I find myself waiting for teammates to load in because they have the old Xbox. The same is said for Grand Theft Auto 5. The loading into online is much quicker.

As someone who started off with the original xbox system; I have been a fan of xbox for years. I have owner the original, multiple 360’s an original xbox one and now the xbox one x.
Most people know that the Xbox one had a rough start this generation. A lot of their fan base left for Playstation because it was an overall better console.
What was truly impressive and set Microsoft apart was that they listened to their customer base and they addressed almost every critisim their was. The result: the Xbox One X. The ultimare consol comprising of almost everything a gamer would want and more that we didn’t even think about. What makes this extra special is Microsoft continues to upgrade the Xbox One X platform, listening to customers and adding more and more features.
This is truly a great console with so many great features. It is worth every penny in my opinion.

The thing is not cheap, but if you have a TV with HDR you HAVE to get this. The gain in performance for existing titles is marginal. You're not going to look at an existing game and freak out. Once games start coming out optimized for it, it will be worth it. UNLESS you have HDR . Get ahead of the curve and buy NOW. That's where it's at and you'll be ready for what comes down the pipe.

My wife convinced me to buy the new Xbox One X since we upgraded to a 4k TV. I already had the first gen Xbox One and was pretty happy with it. The new X is fantastic. Runs very quietly and cool. The games with enhanced look amazing and game play is very smooth. I don't think it is over priced since you can't build a gaming PC for $500 with the same specs. Would definitely recommend.

As promised this is Microsoft's best console, and you can really tell the difference from any other console; Xbox One S, PS4 Pro, etc... Games like Call of Duty World War II and FIFA 18 which are my two favorite games, graphics look insanely good. From the previous console it is literally day and night difference. Yes, a little pricey but you get what you pay for! :)

This is an incredible game console from top to bottom. As my for Xbox I wasn't sure what to expect. The set up is very easy. I am finding that the menus can be confusing at first but there is plenty of help available on line.
The graphics, even on non-4k games are amazing. Pay attention to the settings on your tv as they will affect whether real 4k is displayed.

I was looking forward to buying this super-strong response from Microsoft to Sony, and I have not been disappointed in any way so far. It was even enough to get my die-hard Sony fan-boy friend to gasp in awe (it was supremely gratifying by the way). The graphics are amazing and the system is compact and super quiet. Everything is so-far-so-good. No complaints here!

First, unless you're looking for the very best, you should probably not upgrade from the original Xbox One to the Xbox One X. However, should you actually upgrade you would find that your games would load significantly faster and look their absolute best. This console is fast, Sleek, quiet, and just makes everything look amazing. Especially if you have a 4K TV.

Have zero complaints. I recommend for anyone wanting the most power for your money. I have a 1080p tv and the enhanced games are noticeably different in texture and frame rate. Games load faster, dashboard is faster. No reason not to get it. Console is small, quiet, and stays cool.

I was using an Xbox One S on a Vizio M65-E0. The graphics were great, HDR on the few select games was awesome. However, I was wanting for more given the 4K capability of my TV and that my favorite games did not have HDR support in the S.
I received this as a gift for Christmas. Replacing the S was a breeze, unplug everything, plug it all back in. I then put the S in my bedroom, and utilized the network transfer for anything that wasn't on the portable hard drive. This was disappointingly slow. I have Cat6 with a 1Gbit switch in my house. There network transfer maxed out at only 100Mbit/s, same as downloading online. I would also like to note the huge difference in weight. The X is significantly heavier. Not that that's a negative, but was surprising.
Once all was hooked up, I jumped into Destiny 2. The upgrade on graphics are amazing! I was equally blown away by Battlefront II, Gears of War 4, and Halo 5.
My biggest complaint is the size of the internal hard drive. 1Tb fills up extremely fast when you're downloading 4K assets. Both the internal and my 1Tb external are almost full already, with only 6 Xbox One X enhanced games installed.
Overall, this machine has not disappointed. The hype is worth it.

I preordered and picked up on release day. Xbox one X is way better than the regular Xbox one on 4k t.v. The load time on games seems a little faster. I am happy with the purchase but the price is a little high. If you have a 4k tv I would definitely recommend buying it. It has been my experience that games will look better and run a lot smoother.

Great Upgrade from original Xbox One

First of all, this console is tiny compared to the original Xbox One, it also feels heavier, but don't you want that in an expensive piece of technology? It looks great sitting next to my TV. Now about the system itself... It's a great piece of hardware. I have a LG 4K HDR TV that it pairs nicely with and the 4K content it outputs is amazing! If you have an Xbox One S, I wouldn't recommend upgrading to the X unless you have a 4K HDR TV and really want the amazing detail in games. If you have an original Xbox One, this upgrade is worth it as you get everything from the Xbox One S and more. I haven't run into any frame-rate drops where I had them on my previous Xbox. After two weeks of decent use, I would recommend this to anyone willing to drop 500 dollars for it.

I can't believe how small this Xbox One X is compared to my previous one. They finally got rid of that space eating power brick that always seemed to be in the way or hanging off the edge. I had to do a little research to get the 4K settings working correctly with my SONY 4K Ultra HD.The picture is awesome, but I'm still tweaking the settings

If you own a 4k TV then the One X is a must buy. With double the resolution and 6 teraflops of processing power it is immediately an entirely new experience to gaming. HDR or not, the quality alone is such an improvement along with a quieter, smaller sized unit and an internal power block fitting on the shelf perfectly. It's time to upgrade!

Microsoft got it right with the X. Speed, power and hopefully VR to come down the road. I was on the fence with my Xbox one first generation. I seemed to have many problems with it so I was actually hesitant on buying the X, especially at that price point. But, I honestly have only great things to say about it. Great purchase, very happy.

Better than the S

Like the title says, the X is better than the S. Much better graphics, double the storage, and faster even at 4K. My only gripe, not necessarily a complaint, would be the price, it's a steep increase up from the S, and it wasn't discounted during Black Friday. Other than that, a very fine console system and a 4K movie player in one.
