I wanted a common/standardized controller to connect to my Steam Deck when docked and this does the job great. It's textured grip is very comfortable and it uses the new standard of USB-C to connect. Though, just a heads up for other Steam Deck Owners, you'll need to install the "XBox Accessories" app for windows to do a firmware update, without that update it won't work. But after that it'll connect directly via Bluetooth.

Even though I hate using console controller some games are just not ported well for a keyboard/mouse.
Since this is on my pc I don't really need wireless as i'm close to more monitor. Cord It plenty long and auto sets up without having to mess with blue tooth setup if you don't want to. Also since it's a USB connection it can use ot to power the device and you don't have to worry about batteries.

It's an Xbox controller, my issue is with the store, specifically asked if it was wired and wireless and they said yes, when i recieved it it would not work without being plugged in, yes it had a battery compartment but i missed it as the description in there marketing said it was built in so i didn't bother to look for a port for it at the time, took it to the store and wala they show me the batt compartment but the buttons were junk, someone swapped there trash for the new one and returned it! well it was supposedly tested"NOT" any ways i asked them the same question, is the replacement one going to have a battery and will it work unplugged, oh yes they said and confirmed it with multiple people, well when i received the new one they shipped to me , NO BATTERY!!hence my rating ...

I’ve always been a fan of Xbox controllers. I haven’t owned console in a long time. I bought this for my PC so that I could play Steam/Xbox And alike. I’ve always liked the asymmetry to the sticks on the Xbox, as compared with the the PS controller. This controller was the right price and build quality for a casual gamer, such as myself. It hooked up seamlessly with windows and I was off and running. There are features for sharing and streaming on the controller however, I don’t use that. I have disposable batteries in there right now, but I plan on getting some rechargeable. The controller has barely made a dent on the batteries that are in there at the moment. I also like that I can just cook the USB-C straight into the computer if needed.

I use the Xbox One controller to play games where the pin point accuracy of the joysticks is essential. I have bought numerous controllers over the year due to stick drift and the last one I purchased I was offered a 2-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection. The employee told me that it also covers stick drift so I decided to purchase the plan.
In the last couple weeks I started experiencing the issue so I stopped by BestBuy with the controller and within 5 minutes I was given a brand new controller and ready to game.
The 2 year protection plan is definitely worth it if you are playing competitive games where precision is the key to success.

Wonderful quality on these new style Microsoft controllers. Feels nice and they’ve added grips around the handles of the controllers. It’s a nice welcomed feature. This is a great buy as it comes with the charging/plug in cable. The new ones use the USB-C which is great for charging other accessories. You will need to buy the chargeable battery separately but it is plug and play without it.

Great wireless controller for the best price I could find. Shipped quickly and work great! Have bought several of them and would definitely purchase again!

Best controller Microsoft ever made. This generation are tough as nails. The older ones are crap with stick drift out the box. The gen 1 elite broke literally in pieces in 100 days. Gen 2 pretty solid but I’m being too gentle bc I’m scared. But man the grip on these new ones feel like a glizzy gen 4 if u know u know

The control feels amazing with its grip and fits like a glove. The almost-perfect design for long play sessions doesn't tire your hands out. Plus, the cable you receive with it is very long.

It does the exact job it's supposed to. It gets a bump to 4 stars for having an innovative roughed edge on the handles for better grip and long play sessions. No battery included which is insane for the pricepoint. That being said it is compatible with xbox one, the x series and steam.

I bought this Xbox Controller for my son for Christmas and he especially likes being able to use wireless with Xbox, BT on PC or wired, That was the main reason why I bought it because it is so versatile. you can get power through the USB-C cable also. He uses rechargeable batteries and it comes with regular alkalines.

I don't have an Xbox, but I bought this for my PC when I'm playing games that require a controller. Works perfect for Windows PC's, literally plug and play! Also having an extra long USB-C cable is awesome.

This black Xbox controller with a cable connector is great. It is built to withstand hours of gaming and regular use without compromising performance and without the need of replacing batteries, it also helps with stopping the disconection for inactivity.
Overall, this controller is a reliable and high-quality gaming accessory. Its wired connection ensures a stable and responsive gaming experience, while its comfortable design and precise controls make it enjoyable to use. Whether you're a casual gamer or a more competitive player, this controller can be a great addition to your gaming setup. Highly recommend it.
