Really enjoyed playing this game. I liked the system though it was hard to get used to the button mashing (Y for parrying) and shooting arrows. Still enjoyed it though, great content, highly recommend it!

The graphics are amazing, and the boss ai is crazy. If you die too much, you make your enemies stronger. The story was well thought out and fit inside the lotr world/mythos nicely.

Great game overall, especially when compared to other Lord of the Rings games. The story is pretty interesting unlike some revews say, gameplay is easy to figure out and fighting is not really button-mashing. It was actually challenging at parts. Although there was more to do than the story, i wish it was a bit longer even though its already pretty lengthy.

Game play is smooth and content is really graphic. Definitely not suitable for kids! Very challenging and the more you die the harder the game gets. You have to sneak around and patiently attack from distance. Rushing in is not possible and if you like run and gun, buy a different game!

Great game with great visuals. It does eventually become repetitive, but that is really the largest downside. The controls can be frustrating but it isn't all the time. Overall great game.

10/10 would recommend to a friend! This game was so fun, it had a lot to do. If you like the Batman Arkham series, you'll love this game.

Open world third person action adventure with stealth and rpg elements. Pretty game, good story, great combat (like the batman games) would play a sequel.

Now many people say this game is not that great. After playing it for about 10 hours and have finished 2 main missions and 3 of the side mission and 1 other mission within this game, tells me that I can put into this game easily 50+ hours and maybe get halfway through. I'm playing this to get all the perks and stat upgrades I can before tackling the harder captians and war chiefs. This game is awesome I love it and has made a great addition to my massive game collection.

Bought this game and couldn't stop playing until I beat the last boss. And it's still not even done! The game was priced as used but it looked perfectly new. I got it for basically free by purchasing it with best buy reward points and buying a drink to go over the $20 I had saved up in certificates.

If you are a fan of the LOTR saga this is a must own. The feeling of slicing off the head of an ork is exhilarating. A time before Bilbo and frodo sets the stage for an amazing journey. Excellent gameplay. The combat style of batman combined with the stealth of assassins creed makes a great combo.

This story starts off a bit slow and it can be a little tricky starting off as the majority of your powers are locked. However, a you progress further and begin learning the mechanics of the game, it presents almost limitless challenges and puzzles with the nemesis system. Great game, quality buy

This is a very addicting game. There is enough structure so that you know exactly what you need to do next however there is freedom to roam the open-world and fight as you see fit. I especially enjoyed to randomized and evolving class of Orc leaders, something I found unique to this game.

Excellent LOTR lore involved in game. Fighting is fun.

The graphics on the xbox one game is significantly better than the 360 version. I really enjoyed this game when I first played it. It will probably not have any teplay value after you pass it but it has many places and abilities to explore the first time around.

With all of the amazing reviews that I saw online I was sure that I was in for a new gaming experience. And while the game had beautiful graphics and fit nicely into the storyline of the Hobbit franchise, I quickly felt that i was simply playing a semi-medieval version of GTA. Not really anything new.

This was one of my favorite games of the year. Plays a lot like the batman series of games but introduces sword fighting and different powers that makes the fights really unique. Can't say I've ever played a game quite like this before.

Picked up this game a few weeks ago, and I'm definitely glad I did. Wonderful storyline even if your not a LOTR fan. Reminds me a lot of Assassins Creed, so if you like AC you will enjoy this game. Great buy!

Game play and graphics are fantastic. Excellent lord of the rings lore. Feels like you are in middle earth! Love the different playthrough options making this a game you will find yourself playing over and over.
