Great game!! I really really liked the 1st 1, but this 1 is even better!! It looks, & plays better, & there is more content

THIS GAME BLEW ME AWAY FROM THE BEGINNING WITH THE STORY AND GAMEPLAY. MAKES YOU WANT TO WATCH THE MOVIES ALL OVER AGAIN!

If you enjoyed Shadows of Mordor expect more of the same, but in a good way. More interactive, with an enhanced Nemesis mode. Graphics are great and if you have a 4k TV and an Xbox One X you get two two new viewing options, one for better performance, the other with better textures. They did throw in some annoying loot crate aspect but I don't partake in it. Still, know that if you are buying this game and against supporting loot crate games avoid this one or buy it used.

Good action packed game. Especially good for LOTR fans. Loved the first one, and this one seems to be even better!

Love the battle mechanics and story, lots of unlockable powers and unique nemesis system. Interactions are cool.

There is a big issue with micro transactions in games that is being brought about recently and this game ratings has suffered being that there are some in this that has made a lot of fans upset. I personally haven't looked into them heavily. That is because the action in this game has kept my attention. I enjoy building my own army and laying siege on orc captains. The higher the captains level the more I enjoyed the fights. I recommend this game to anyone!

Loved the story and the gameplay! I love middle earth so to visit it once again in this game is amazing!

The first one was great but this one takes it to another level! I really enjoyed the open world and how they improved the nemesis system from the previous title. I heard an issue regarding loot boxes but haven't run into anything that really detracted from the overall fun of the base game. If you liked Shadow of Mordor, Shadow of War is a great follow up and an enjoyable experience.

I have played about 4-5 hours and so far it is a great follow-up and a great start to the AAA title season. I probably rate it closer to a 4.5 than just a 4. Just about everything was tweaked from the first game improving gameplay. Action has been very smooth and it looks great on my original Xbox One so I can just imagine what this will look like on Xbox X with 4K/HDR. Looking forward to that! My only complaints so far is the map/menus can be slightly confusing at first, occasional difficulties climbing things, and respawning of enemies in an area just cleared out. Looking forward to getting back to killing some more Orcs!

The Shadow of Mordor was such a different and revolutionary game in The Lord of the Rings Universe. I liked the game so much that I preordered and picked up day one Shadow of War. With that said I had high expectations and was not disappointed! I have found this game to be an extension and expansion of the first with upgraded and better visuals and gameplay. So yes this is a case of the sequel better then the original.

Loving this sequel. Even more to do than the first and still delivers great fun in many ways!
