I played the first game like crazy! Just purchased this and I've already clocked 10+ hours into it, and I've barely even left the first area! It's such a good game. Just stay away from the microtransactions (why it got a bad rep) and you'll be fine!

Seemed pretty similar to the first game, new story makes it playable.

My 15 year old grandson chose this game for Christmas and I’m sure he checked it out prior to requesting it. This was one of the 3 or 4 games he asked for. He said he will play until he beats the game, and then allow his older brother to play it.

I have not played this game for too long but from what I have played it is a very good game. The gameplay is smoother, and the graphics are much better then the previous middle earth. If you enjoyed that previous game you will like this one also.

Great game..too much grinding though. Wish it was more streamlined.

Yes, I know the game has some grindy sections, but it is still amazing. I am playing Assassins Creed Origins at the same time and I think I prefer Mordor - the movement and combat is so smooth that I cannot help but smile in the midst of battle.

I would highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoyed the first game and anyone who loves lord of the rings. The gameplay has evolved and has many new features. This a must buy in 2017!

Bought this for my nephew and he absolutely loves playing this! I played a few times and the graphics are really cool. Definitely recommend this if you are looking for a good game!

Heads up, it takes a LONG time to get to any of the new content. Forst the first like 8 hours, the game feels just like the previous one. Which isn't a bad thing, since the game was a amazing. But all the good stuff doesn't start until act 2

Awesome game, great sequel to the original. Great graphics and gameplay, and the customization of your experience is the best aspect as there are now loot boxes and gameplay changes based on your interactions with the captains and enemies.

Shadow of War takes those elements that were a ton of fun in the previous game and brings those into Shadow of War. This is both good and bad. There is not a ton of innovation here, but it is still a rock solid beautiful game.

Very fun game not real hard and its challenging great game

The added to the formula is a lot of fun and interesting ways. The nemesis system is still fun to engage with. They gave Talion more ways to kill things. What more can you ask for from a video game? Nothing. The answer is nothing.

Played the previous game and this new game delivers. Improves on the last game and it’s even more fun to play. Everything about this game is great. Even with all the micro transactions in the game. It doesn’t affect game play

Variety of play and activity is great. Huge expansive world to explore and and track down missions gives hours of play. With the nemesis system the new opponents spring up to take down. Love the online features as well.

Great open world game that immerses you in the Lord of the Ring lore. The game is much larger than its predecessor and does not feel simply like more Shadow of Mordor. The fortress sieges are a nice addition to the game.

Hard to belive how much this sequel improves on the original. The world, the characters, voice acting - all are amazing. While it already looks amazing, I'm looking forward to the visual upgrades when I get the Xbox One X.
