    I was never a huge fan of the middle earth collection, but I did enjoy the Lord of the Rings and haven't seen the Hobbit trilogy, this is a fantastic offer.

    This was a gift from my husband. Loved the books and loved the movies. Only regret is that he didn't check to see if the set was blueray. Our goof!

    6 movies for less than $40 is amazing. My 15 year old could care less that it's not blue ray either.

    The novels were great and the movies are really good as well. As with any adaptation, there are liberties taken in the movies but overall, the movies are great!
