This is a good and compact emergency radio. It has a large rechargeable battery (2600 mAh). It picks up all the NOAA weather stations in your area. It can monitor those stations and issue a loud alert when these stations warn of approaching dangerous weather. It can also receive AM and FM radio stations in your area. The battery can be charged 3 ways: via USB, via a hand crank, or via a small solar panel. It is a good value.

Purchased 4 one for our emergency box and the others for our young adult kids. They are sturdy and have necessary features, and are small enough for our emergency box. Batteries are installed with the pull tab keeping batteries fresh.

I was able to use this almost right away, and it worked as advertised. The Weather warning was a bit disconcerting, as it was loud and sudden, but it certainly got my attention. I will definitely pull this out of my emergency supply box next time I lose power.

This little unit is great for regular use or for emergency use with its ability to light up a dark room, to charge other devices, and to listen to the radio for weather updates or music. The 18650 battery is really long-lasting.

A bit more static than I'd like on the weather warning channels, fm and am stations come in clearly. It's a great warning system when sudden storms are going to hit. Definitely worth having if the power goes out and because it doesn't require batteries, it's a great investment, and if you can get it on sale, even better.

Works well. The flashlight component is really bright. Clear reception on the radio.

This is just what I was looking for. I wanted weather alert radio with AM FM radio channels. Bonus was it is small enough to put in pocket or purse, plus a great flashlight. I truly love it. Thanks Bust Buy

This Midland Emergency radio is great! You can charge it with USB port or you can crank charge it. This radio is clear and easy to use. I love it !

This really is a great little radio that offers more than just broadcasting the weather. Having two different ways of changing and a usb port is a real plus. It just feels so solidly made. I would have given it five stars if it had a better speaker. If you’re planning on listening to music on it, try it out before you buy it

I am super happy with this purchase. In fact, I purchased a second one. This small, compact and emergency radio has it all. It powers off of solar and battery. The battery can be recharged by solar, plug in or hand crank. During a power outage will be glad you made this purchase as well.

Such a tiny thing with such a big bang...so handy when a storm hits or just to hear news....has some great additional bonus too....charging of your phone...and get one and u will see more stuff...don't wait to be prepared....

Unit works as expected and does a descent job of reception for FM, AM, and weather radio. The speaker is small. I keep it in a shaded window sill, and the solar panel has kept the battery topped off, but it's never read completely full. The crank works, but I have no idea how much cranking you'd need to keep it running.

Works perfectly. Three different ways to charge the battery. The light has three different functions and one of them is a really big bright floodlight. It’s amazing.

Got this just in case. I set it on the kitchen table and it gets sun everyday. I have not had to charge it because it stays charged. Just the occasional test run. No issues what so ever.

A great, but small piece of equipment to have on hand if emergency should arise. The only think I don’t like it that the battery had already lost some charge, despite it being a new product. Also the solar pad doesn’t seem to be able to get the battery back to full charge.

It’s amazing and gives you everything thats going on in your area with the weather. You also have AM and FM radio. It’s very easy to charge and you also have a crank if you need to power up if you aren’t able to charge it. Well worth the money you pay for it.

If you have black outs in your neighborhood this is perfect for you, I had one and didn’t have a flash light so I got this, you don’t need to do a lot of cranking when it’s on 0%

Haven’t used it yet. I’m an EMT and go on deployments with FEMA so this will come in handy. Love that it’s solar and has a flashlight too.
