I've played the origional XBox version, this is a great port from the origional. The car controls are very good for this game. It's an arcade racer, so be prepared for some unbelievable racing. For those racing purists, that want more simulated racing like a Grand Tourismo, look somewhere else, this is an arcade racer with a ton of customizing for your car. Each race will take a few times to see where the track is, because you can drive anywhere, so you make your own way to each checkpoint. So you'll restart your race as you drive, make a wrong turn, restart, drive, crash or make another wrong turn, restart and finally get it right. You use your winnings to buy new cars, and upgrade the old ones. It's a very long game, so you'll be playing it awhile before you can put this one to rest. Biggest drawback?... Long load times on everything. Want to see the next car in the shop?... Load... want to see the next set of rims to put on your car... 5 seconds of loading before they pop up. So it takes some time for things to show up on the screen. The races take a little bit to load. But it's a great PSP game, when it's not loading. A great buy for those that like arcade racers.

This is the best game I have played on the psp so far. It is awsome how you can costimize cars from upgrading the engine to putting spinners on the car. It has awsome graphics and realism. If you want a really good game for your psp go out and buy this one. Better yet it is a greatest hits game, so it is $15 instead of $40.

This is actually a pretty good game! I wasn't so amazed at the graphics but it's one of the older PSP games, you can't expect much... The car customization is perfect, controls don't give me a hard time, and it's just fun to ride around in your own personally customized vehicle! Don't get me wrong, this is an awesome game, but if you have 30 bucks laying around, buy midnight club L.A. remix instead, but if you want to save money and don't have $30, buy this game!

This is a good console game but the PSP version is also very impressive. What impressed me was that this PSP version had all the full sized cities to free roam in because most PSP games have even less content than the console version. There are plenty of cars to customize and a ton of choices when it comes to customization. This is a very fun game for the PSP.

I really like this game. The races are very intense. It has nice features like nitrous, drifting, and special care capabilities. The special car capabilities are things that can only be used by a certain type of car. For example, only tuners have the power to slow down time so they can weave through traffic. Other cars can do other things. And there are many different types of cars. The are tuners, choppers, muscle cars, and many more. Also, I like how you can specifically customize your car. You can customize things from your license plate to flashing neon lights underneath your car. I also like the different types of races. But, the only type of mutiplayer you can do in AD/HOC, so you can only play with friends that are near you. But, the many different cities you can race in make up for. I really enjoy this game and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, intense street racing game.

I just bought this game and when I Played the Game I was fun full racing some are extremely hard to win, but if you dont want to race go to arcade and drive solo there you can trash the city run into gas pumps it is the best game ever.

this is a awesome game!!! you can choose from an SUV, Truck, sports car, or a sedan. I would definitely recommend this game.

I bought this for my childs birthday. My child was very happy to receive this game and I was happy I got it for a reasonable price.

I've had this product for about a month now and it's really fun. It's only 20 bucks, and it's definetly worth it. Lots of different cars and options to customize them. Gameplay is great. Graphics are okay. Great overall.

Very cuztomizable game with detailed maps, But the best part is that you can drive on two wheels on a car and wheely or stopy on bikes and the game will never get old.

this game is a fun game for those who love racing and fixing up cars. although the game as a few problems: when racing the view in front of your car is very short which makes you crash into other cars or buildings A LOT.. & the minor cars in the game like the traffic has poor graphics and the traffic gets in your way when trying to race & it gets really annoying!! other than those few problems i would recommend this game.

This is a pretty fun game for the PSP. I like that you have a lot of different options to chose from when customizing your ride. If you like racing games this would be a game for you.

it wasn't a bad game at all just needed more customization to it. easy if you've played similar games.

Pretty good. But the story mode is waay too long. Overall really fun.
