Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all Thank sweet goony birds they finally replaced that barebones edition with one that actually compares to the one that was on laserdisc. This is the only X rated film to win Best Picture, of course now it has been downgraded to R, but for its time it was pretty raunchy stuff. This is the best film ever. It is in a word perfect, from Schlesinger's direction, to Salt's script, to the terrific casting. Of course at the forefront of this casting Jon Voight and Dustin Hoffman who both turn in career performances and if you are a young actor, this film is like an acting master class on Character Acting. No go to Class!
