Purchasing the set is an excellent way to view the episodes at one's own convenience rather than be at the mercy of the TV schedule.

I am resistant to change but I must admit the way the series transcends from Barnaby to the new Barnaby has kept me a fan. I thought this might be the last of the Midsomer Murders I would buy, but I was wrong. I like the new chap and look forward to many more Midsomer Murders with him as the new DCI Barnaby. Jason Hughes remains throughout this series as the loveable detective constable. The set includes the following: from series 12 The Dogleg Murders, The Black book, Secrets and Spies, The Glitch, Small Mercies, The Creeper, The Great and the Good. From series 13:The Made-to-Measure Murders, The Sword of Guillaume, Blood on the Saddle, The Silent Land, Master Class, The Noble Art, Not in My Backyard, Fit For Murder.

I now have the complete series, every episode - every year since the Midsommer / Barniby murders began. Every so often they explain, in the extras, some of the history of the fictional county of Midsommer England. I especially enjoy seeing real local villages of the English country side and many of the "great houses" located there. And, as for the stories, the actors appear in such realistic situations that you feel you actually live there.

I love this series. Box set came on time and in perfect condition. Just wish there were more shows in the set for the price. The set, Barnaby’s Last Cases, include Series 12, 7 shows, and series 13, 8 shows.
