My absolute favorite movie of the year. The Blu-ray's quality is fantastic. Wish this was a 4K release, and wish it had the Director's Cut, but so happy to finally own this.

Just as weird (or weirder) than Hereditary

If you like the awkward, weird, uneasiness you got watching Hereditary, then you're going to really love Midsommar (not Midsummer). Just be warned, some very graphic content.

The cinematography is beautiful. A daytime nightmare unfolding before your eyes keeps you on edge, even with the nearly 3 hour run time. Just wish it was released in 4K.

This movie took way too long to get there. I would recommend Ari Aster's previous film " Hereditary " as it is a much tighter production with a higher "creep" value. "Midsommar" focuses on uncomfortable situations while " Hereditary " lays on the darkness & sense of impending dread from the start. "Midsommar" has some nice scenery which really deserves a 4K uhd release in the future.

I'm not so much a horror fan but this movie was great. I thought the acting was superb. And it was definitely engaging film throughout all the way to the end.

I got this film after seeing this director's masterpiece Hereditary but this film didn't live up to it. It is still good, but could use some editing.

Very few movies come out lately that can be unique, this is one of them. In a time of sequels and remakes , thia is exactly the change we needed.

Anyone that is a horror movie buff will be impressed by the story and viewpoint/ eye of the direction. However, it is not for the squeamish type!!

I wouldn’t say this was a horror film but it’s probably The closest genre to put it in. It’s a slow moving movie yet held my attention.

Highly enjoyed this slow burn horror film. Although I don’t believe it is for anyone it is beautifully shot and has a gruesome story to tell!

This was a visually beautiful movie. It’s not everyone’s style of horror and it’s very long, but it has an interesting story.

Ari Aster cements himself as one of -if not the- best horror director working today. It's a masterclass in daylit terror.

Midsommar is not for everybody. It’s a slow burn type of film, but if you can handle that, the payoff is great.

There’s a different twist Ari Aster projects and the imagery of the shots are epic with the creepiest audio... I LOVE IT

“Midsommar” is a work of art that is as jarring, as it is terrifying. Definitely more for the Indie crowd.
