This is a older movie that I originally saw in a movie theater and was delighted when I was able to purchase it from BestBuy at a good price so my wife, who has not seen it, can watch it anytime we want.

I never was able to serve in the military but some family and few friends did, they are the real heroes.. Thank you.. Midway was a turning point of our great nation.

This movie is a classic - a true favorite. wish the quality of the presentation could be better when they transferred it to Blu-Ray, but it still was one I had to add to my collection.. I can olny hope that someday they improve on the movie quality and re-release it - until then, this is the best available.

I had seen this movie long time ago and purchased the new version, I decided to buy this one also to add to my collection.

Bought the regular DVD but wanted to see how much better the Blu - ray was. I was pleased with it....

If you like classic movies, this is a movie for you. A "Who's Who" of stars from the past. GREAT MOVIE!!!!

A classic and very well made as far as special effects go way back in the day. Rewatching it however I remembered how slow the start of the movie was, all of the setup. That's why it gets four stars instead of five.

If you remotely enjoy WW II history, the is a good one. Some fictional players (Heston's character), but overall a good summary of the Midway Battle.

Watched this movie as a kid and now get to revisit a a classic that had endured the test of time.
