This light will illuminate two full sheets of music and runs several gigs on the batteries, but the best performance is had while using the AC adapter. I have 3 of these I have used for a couple of years and needed more for the rest of the horn section. They really hold up well over time. I highly recommend this Mighty Bright LED light!!
