    Ever since I was a kid I have loved this movie. The setting, the cast and the overall story is the best. I am glad I now own it on blu-ray.

    A must see for any fan of King Kong movies! Bought as a present for my mother as this is her favorite!

    I first watched this movie with my father as a child, and have been watching it ever since. Next to King Kong, this is the next best gorilla movie of all time. A good one to watch. Was glad to see that it's now not only on DVD, but on Blu Ray.

    This is a classic black and white movie which has been fabulously restored. The video and sound are better than I'd ever seen it which just contributed to the fun this movie provides.

    The first stop motion film by the master Ray Harryhausen. The film starts with a little girl buying a baby gorilla from 2 natives. Move forward 12 years and the girl and the gorilla have grown up. Robert Armstrong's character is very similar to his character in King Kong. Terry Moore and Ben Johnson find romance among chaos. The film shows how people are the cause of all trouble.
