A great remake by Disney made from the 1949 film same name

I bought the dvd of this because I have the vhs and it was my now 30 year olds favorite movie. Now her 5 year old says its her favorite movie. The movie itself is very exciting, sad, but happy at the end. It shows the bad people getting caught and Joe ends up where he is safe.

I know that I have never seen the original Mighty Joe Young movie but I still found this one worth checking if your new to the film or not. Stunning visual effects that still hold up rather well!

Purchased as a gift for my sister-in-law. She enjoys movies, since she doesn't have smart TV or streaming service. Glad that Bust Buy still carries DVD's.

This is a older movie that I had previously seen, but my wife had not and I was delighted when I was able to purchase it from BestBuy at a good price so my wife and I can watch it anytime we want.

It’s been years since I’ve seen this movie at the theater, but when I found it on dvd one day at Best Buy, couldn’t pass up the great price. I played it for my friends children recently and they loved it too.

This is an absolute great family movie. We watched this movie three times in a day. I never get tired of enjoying this movie. Great choice for family night.

I had this movie in a VSH I watch it so much that it would not play. So I had to get on DVD I am so happy I have it and the price was great.

This is a good family entertainment. Disney puts a mild-mannered slant to the King Kong story, making the main character lovable to children and still demonstrating the lessons of good over evil and compassion over greed. Bill Paxton and Charlize Theron give it star quality.

Mighty Joe Young is a classic in my opinion. I know it's like King Kong and Rampage but I don't care. I heard it's on Blu-ray but I hope it goes to 4K at some point.

Fantastic movie! Everyone from ahe 62 to 3 years old sat down together and watched this movie. FAMILY TIME, kids didn't even touch the cell phone the whole movie.

I was obsessed with King Kong as a child so Mighty Joe Young is the next best thing! The CGI holds up pretty well considering this movie came out last century!
