Remaster of the 3DS version. And it is a really good remaster due to one single feature. The wig and make up feature. You can really make pretty much any character now from other games, comics, anime, cartoons and even real life. The story is ridiculous but entertaining. One thing I wish the game had was a NG+ feature but overall a great game.

Both my girls love this new Miitopia for Switch. They really like the new features for customizing characters and they say the graphics are spectacular (way better than the 3DS version). My oldest daughter who was an avid 3DS version player hates that you no longer have access to online Mii characters and you can only select from preset characters as your towns people. She says there is a lack of a search feature which she finds frustrating as she tends to have large elaborate towns.

Good story and a fun game overall, although the game does get a little tedious when going through the levels. Especially since, as the player, you have little to no interaction throughout the level, only afterward at the inn.

My 12 year old daughter is actually the one that bought this. She was willing to spend her own money on it, so I think that says a something. She loves spending hours making various Mii characters up and seeing what kind of situations they get into. Based on the time she has spent on this game I’d say it’s a big hit. She played her big brother’s 3DS version of this before and loved it and says this one is much better. If you or your kids are fans of Animal Crossing or other life simulators then I’d say this is probably going to be a game you enjoy.
