great movie Coen brothers are dope all time greats

I saw this title on sale and couldn’t resist! So many great films have come from the Coen Brothers but this movie inparticular has often been ignored. Miller’s Crossing is their most under rated film. Hands down. This film noir period piece is rife with crisp dialogue, sumptuous cinematography, stylish costumes and incredible performances. The story deliberately unfolds in a taught, thrilling manner which concludes with an unexpected and completely satisfiying ending. Funny, it is not. Maybe that’s why Miller’s Crossong isn’t mentioned as one of the Coen Brothers best. However, if you’re in the mood for an incredibly crafted original cinematic experience then by all means pop this blu-ray in. A must own for any Coen Brothers completist!

Who doesn’t like a good gangster movie . It’s not the Godfather . But what is ? Still not a bad movie overall . Definitely worth your time to see .

I admit this is not my favorite movie, but I know a lot of people who really liked it. The acting was really good, just not my style.

good dvd not really interested in the plot putting in my future collection to see again

A great early Coen Brothers film, highly stylized,with many twists and turns. Excellent Barry Sonnenfeld cinematography. This disc had a nice special feature interview with Sonnenfeld. Great over the top performances by Polito and Turtoro. Well worth watching again if you saw it 30 years ago. Plus this was in the bargain bin for $3.99

I believe the Coen Brothers are one of the greatest pairs of filmmakers out there. Miller's Crossing was there endeavor to make a Gangster Flick and it is a success. A great ensemble cast does tremendous work with a unique take on Mob Life. A must see for any fan of the Coen Brothers.

Miller's Crossing is one of The Coen Bros. most overlooked films. It is probably one of the best gangster movies of all time, enough so that I confidently put it up against The Godfather, Road to Perdition, and Goodfellas.

I was not sure what to think about this one after reading the title. However it got better as the movie progressed. A little deep for most movie viewers, but ok. Truly a mob feast.

Miller's Crossing is my favorite Coen Brothers movie and, for my money, one of the best mobster movies ever made. Everyone involved in the film gives the performance of their careers here. Check it out!

This Cohen Bros. classic is one of the best organized crime films of not only the 1990's,but of all time as well.Great performances by Finney,Byrne,and especially Turturro.You can't go wrong at 5.99.

This is one of The Coen Brothers movies. I think the first one was Raising Arizona. This particular one is a mobster movie set back in the thirties and one of my favorite ones from that time era.

If you like gangster movies, this is a great one. Great story line, acting and action. You won't be disappointed. Always watched when it was available on movie channels but finally just purchased my own at Best Buy

One of my favorite movies. Thru a Best Buy deal, I essentially bought this for under 5$. Tragically underrated coen brothers film that rivals some of their well known classics.

If your a fan of Miller's Crossing, the $6 price point is a must buy. Solid transfer for an older film. It would need a criterion collection version to get a better transfer.

Story was a little slow and acting could have been better, but still the acting was pretty good. Not riveting but interesting and worth watching.

This is an excellent movie with an excellent cast. The acting is superb. I especially liked John Turturro's performance. This is a very good movie & I highly recommend it.
