I bought this for my 13 year old son. He wanted the Java Edition so he can download mods. He really prefers this version over the console versions.

The game is great! Playing on servers such as hypixle and playing the core game modes themselves have been a lot of fun especially with friends!

It’s Minecraft, what more is there to say? The card worked perfectly, and I am enjoying playing with my friends 100%. I am so glad I bought Java Edition :)

My nieces was so excited for this game. She had her parents install this after they got home from receiving this present.

Could never get the digital code to work. Always got a message saying that it had already been redeemed. Took the card back to Best Buy and was told that there was nothing they could do in store and to contact Microsoft. Made a few attempts to get a hold of someone that could help, but was either put on hold or transferred multiple times until the call dropped. Waste of time and money

Tip: Enter the code as all upper case otherwise it'll report invalid or have already been claimed if you input it as lower case. Even though it says Java edition you now get both Java and Bedrock versions for a few bucks less. Bought it to benchmark OpenGL drivers.

Code didnt work, customer service couldnt activate it on their end either. They were responsive and replaced the card. That one had the exact same issue. Both cards had a copyright from 2018. I can only GUESS that they are old outdated cards before Minecraft was purchased by Microsoft. Either way, can not recommend buying these. Recommend you just purchase directly off the Minecraft website for the same price.

This particular purchase wasn’t for myself, but I do own the game. I’m sure everyone’s heard most of this before, but Minecraft is currently one of the most popular games in the world

Purchased this gift card as a birthday gift for my son's classmate. The card was best option because my son's friend received a gift that requested, and his parents get to decide when it is installed on the home computer. Win, win!

A little difficult at first to get to launch on my daughter’s laptop, had to take it back to Best Buy and have them uninstall her OS and reinstall. It finally launched thanks to Geeksquad

Seems like a complete waste of money. Not really sure what the attraction is for kids.

The delivery was fast and it's easy to claim the game, I've been playing it for a while and I'm glad i did buy this item, some ppl say it doesn't work but remember gift cards need some time to activate.

Didn’t work and wasn’t worth my time trying to explain to best buy. They email the activation to you and nothing physical to return plus I’m sure some active then try and get money back. So yeah waist of time to try.

Really easy to use! Got it for my cousin at the Montebello Best Buy and was shocked to see the amazing customer service as well as a great Minecraft card. You can never go wrong with Minecraft!

Amazing game love every single minute of it!! Love the survival/creativity behind it!! I’ve been playing this game for years and it’s amazing how far it has gotten!!!

The instructions were pretty easy to follow, I was able to use the code and install the game on my PC without any trouble.
