Alright cool cool, so you've played the base game of MD and you're itching for more, right? Well, let me tell you about this DLC, straight from someone who's been there, done that, this add on throws you into a seriously vibrant, lush jungle environment that's a huge change from the usual dungeons and crypts, think towering trees, hidden paths, and new, tougher enemies lurking everywhere, I gotta say, as a fan, it really immerses you into a whole different world, we're talking three new missions, packed with puzzles and challenges, and while some folks wish there were more levels, I think they're well designed and offer a good mix of exploration and fighting. And talking the new mobs, get ready for the likes of the leapleaf, the whisperer, and that tough as nails jungle abomination boss, they definitely add some spice to the fights! And there's a bunch of awesome new jungle themed gear and artifacts that let you switch up your combat strategies, like that cool vine whip, playing co op in this DLC is an absolute blast, too, especially in these new, gorgeous environments. Speaking of graphics, the jungle is beautiful, full of detail and life, and it holds up surprisingly well on the Switch. Sure, there might be a little frame drop here and there during intense battles, but nothing major, now I'm not gonna lie, the difficulty spike is real, these jungle baddies hit hard, and you'll need to be more strategic than in the base game, it can be a bit frustrating at times, especially solo, but honestly, that's part of the fun, it forces you to experiment with different builds, even though the main missions can be finished pretty quickly, I found myself coming back for more thanks to the randomized layouts and the hunt for better gear, daily challenges and hidden secrets also help with that. Performance wise, the Switch version runs pretty smoothly, though load times can be a bit long, co-op is smooth sailing too.
I would recommend this to a friend
