This is a great gateway product to get a young one started in the process. You can use different apps than the one specified and you can use different toys than the one this comes with. In fact, you don't even need to buy this to do any Stop-Motion movie-making. But this does give your Minecraft fan a place to start and a bunch of props to provide a structure for their creativity. Unless your child is highly tech-savvy, you may need to help (which is a fun project to do with the family).
