Honestly, it's Minecraft, I can't complain alot. It's a great experience for those that have never played it and a great portable game for the switch. I bought this game for my sister last Christmas, being the first and only game she owned for the switch, she played it a ton. She knew what Minecraft was, but never actually owned her own copy before, and quickly hopped on the Minecraft hype train that has been slowly rising this year.
Before I knew it, it sucked me in too and I bought it for Windows 10, this being my first time owning Minecraft as well. Its really good personal fun, building silly things, fighting in survival. When you get down to it, it's simple, and easy to pick up.
The real meat for me though was the multiplayer, once you set up a Microsoft account, it really is seamless to play with any other platform. Friend someone through Xbox live, and you can see them in game and join anytime. Me and my sister have a huge world we've been building for some time, and is definitely the best multiplayer experience iv had that isn't a Nintendo party game.
If your on the fence, try it. It goes on sale alot, and on other platforms it's even cheaper. It's amazing when it's portable, and the mashup packs included here can be pretty fun too.

It's just a classic! My kid loves it, it promotes creativity and planning. Same as every other video game, usage needs to be controlled, because it can be quite addictive.

Five stars for the game itself, zero stars for the way modern nintendo systems work for a multi device household, forcing us to buy a cartridge to play this game on more than one Switch at a time. Xbox is much better in that regard. This game is great, however, and it was delivered quickly, undamaged, and works great.

Minecraft on Nintendo Switch (Standard Edition) is pure magic — whether you’re building a sky castle, exploring deep caves, or, like me, chasing down lava chickens -yes, I said it ,lava chickens there’s never a dull moment!
The game runs like a dream across all Switch models — standard, OLED, and Lite. The OLED especially makes those pixelated sunsets and glowing lava pools pop with color. And don’t worry, the lava chickens look extra spicy on that screen!
Multiplayer with friends is easy to set up, and the joy of building ridiculous things (like a chicken sanctuary over lava — for the brave only!) never gets old. Cross-platform play is smooth, so I can team up with friends playing on PC and Xbox without missing a beat.
Whether you're crafting a peaceful village or sprinting from a lava chicken stampede (true story), Minecraft on Switch delivers hours of creativity, chaos, and fun.
Pros: Great on all Switch models, vibrant visuals (especially OLED), addictive gameplay, lava chickens!
Cons: Highly addictive — you’ve been warned!
Final Verdict: If you haven’t played Minecraft on Switch yet, what are you waiting for? The blocks are calling — and the lava chickens are waiting.
Let me know if you'd like a shorter or more serious version too!

My daughter loves this Minecraft game and plays it during her video game time. She enjoys it a lot, and it gives her opportunities to talk about shared topics with her friends at school.
I do not allow her to play online, so I cannot speak to the online portion of the experience. As a standalone Minecraft game, however, it is highly recommended.

I have this game on my Xbox. This game definitely brings out your creative side. It’s for ages 4 and up. I’m glad that I have it in travel size, so I can take it anywhere. If you love to create towns, houses, animals farms, build pretty much anything. Than this game is for you.

I always thought this game was like legos, then I bought it for my son and it’s not really anything like legos besides the building up, this game confuses me to watch him play it but he enjoys it maybe a little too much. He plays for hours.
