Great game, kids and adults have a lot of fun with it. It came in a small card, very easy to install in the Nintendo console.

It’s super fun to be able to build and explore wherever you are. The game runs great, and the controls feel really natural on the Joy-Cons. Whether you’re playing alone or with friends, there’s always something new to do. It’s the perfect version of Minecraft for gaming on the go!

Bruh its Minecraft but on switch, good times
Will not perform as well or have extreme render distances like you might on a PC, but perfectly playable
This is Bedrock edition, so mechanics are slightly different than java for PC.

The game is super fun, because you can build your own things and craft, but sometimes you can't choose what the land looks like hills and stuff. Sometimes when I spawn a lot of cows or animals it goes really slow and I can't raise a farm.
Sometimes when I work with plants and crops they don't give materials. Overall it's fun because you can have your own village and I can play with my friends. - 10 year old
This game has captured my daughters attention and it's often their go to game when they have friends over to play video games.

I love Minecraft on the Switch! Building crazy worlds on the go or on the big screen is so much fun, and playing with friends across other consoles makes it even better. Totally addictive — I lose track of time every time I play!

This is a game I avoided forever for looking childish and a bit strange, but it is quite the enjoyable experience. Akin to living in a painting, you create the world with your friends (if you wish for someone to pay for your monthly server). The main issue is if you create a large area with intricate pieces, the games fps drops and the screen stutters sometimes, making it difficult to play.
Still, it's worth a pickup, especially because its the best on the go option combined with controls that work.
One star off for awkward typing, no warning that we would have to pay additionally for servers (on top of nintendo online), and the lag issues.

Kids are loving it - their cousins just got it, and they're having a blast with it so of course they wanted a copy too. Works well enough on the original Switch, but shines on the Switch 2.

Virtual Legos never gets old. As a matter builder, you can make anything and share with your friends. Parents can lock down sharing to just friends. We have platformers, fighting, open world, etc. but the kids always come back to Minecraft.

I purchased this game because of the creative building you can do in it. My kids love building and playing with the animals. I love that they are using their imaginations while playing instead of just shooting or button mashing.
