Love it, I can sit for hours and just mine and mine and mine, I was made to explore the caves! A lot of reviews call it boring but I don’t see how digging up diamonds and iron can be boring! I yearn for these mines!

While not the definitive edition of the game, Minecraft of the Switch satiates me in an entirely new way. I spent a while contemplating whether or not it was worth it to re-buy a game I already owned on PC and PS4 (knowing full well that it wouldn't include all of the latest features).
I'm happy to say that I don't regret my purchase one bit, and I am surprised by how easy it is to get sucked back into a game I've already sunk countless hours into before, now that I have a proper portable version. The Switch version might be a few updates behind, but being able to play it on-the-go with physical controllers definitely made the purchase more than worth the asking price.
In my opinion this is as necessary a title on the Switch as Breath of the Wild or Mario Kart are. I mean, it's Minecraft, but the Switch really changes up how and (most importantly) where you play it.
I would recommend this to a friend

The Nintendo Switch version of Minecraft is great because it comes with the Mario DLC. You can play regular Minecraft just as fine but why not play as your favorite Mario characters like Mario, Luigi, Bowser, etc. It's a must have for any Minecraft fan or Nintendo Switch owner.
Be sure to take advantage of Best Buy's Price Match when purchasing this. Nintendo Switch games can be quite pricey and stuck at the MSRP. This game is usually $29.99ish so I recommend purchasing it at least $19.99 or below. Good luck.

My son loves Fortnite. He was looking into trying something else out and when I asked him what game he thought hed be intetested in he told me Minecraft. So, I purchased it for his Nintendo Switch. He loves it. Im happy with it and especially because of his age... Hes only 6 years old so I believe its more appropriate than fortnite for his age. I recommend this game for any parent of a younger child that loves to play video games.

It's Minecraft. It's on the Switch. That's about all you need to know - this is a particularly useful purchase if you have children that are missing on their own cellphone or tablet. It's an excellent port and will keep your kids quiet for hours on long car journeys.
As far as I'm aware this is the only physical copy of Minecraft available (across all platforms) so in that sense it's rather unique.
