    I purchased this version of the game to be able to play with my friends on the nintendo switch. The nice bonus of this purchase though, was that you can use mario skins on the entire world.

    My 4 and 7 year old sons are obsessed with Minecraft so this was a no brainer to get them off my Xbox and on to their Switch. Bonus was this version comes with a Mario skin that is SUPER cool!!!

    Bought digital because I wanted for a last minute birthday present for a road trip...and everyone you want to play it needs to connect to the internet to verify it can be played by a given profile...doesn’t work well for long road trips...until the digital verification experience improves will not be purchasing digital

    Kids love this nintendo product! have to get an extra wireless controller for certain games for two players but other than that, it is worth the price because you can download games and take it with you on trips.

    I remember when Minecraft used to be free...those were the days. But hey, we've got it on Switch, tablet, iPhone, and a couple PC now, so it looks like they're winning. Worth it, though.

    Bought this to escape the world with the quarantine and it's great. Aside from that, I bought it on my Switch to cross-play but that is not working at all, be wary in what console you buy this game if you want to cross-play online, look up online for more details on this problem that Mojang hasn't fixed. Great game nonetheless to escape and relax.

    What you are getting here is essentially the best version of Minecraft as it acts as a portable version and a home console version. The only real downside is the graphical fidelity won't be impressing anyone as it takes quite a hit if you're used to the PC, PS4, or Xbox versions of this game.
