First impressions from my son were great. He loved the opportunity to decide which way the story would go. He was engaged from the minute the game started. There are a few situations where he wasn't quite sure what he needed to do to proceed, and needed some help from his older cousin. Otherwise, he has enjoyed it so far.

A great game for the season pass and easy to control with a fun story of multiple outcomes. If you are buying for your child just make sure that they are fast readers. The prompts come up fast but I'm sure that they will have fun whatever the outcome.

Positives: - Great to see the Minecraft world in a new way. Kind of like a sequel to a great movie. Just awesome to see your favorite characters again. - Great different type of game play for you or your kids. It truly is a "story mode" where a story is being told and your choices guide it. - Price. Cons: - Only one player. - Length of play. It's only good for a few days, then you need to buy more content online. That's fine considering the cheap initial price, but be prepared to spend more. - The game continuously gives you choices on screen, then you select to guide the story. My daughter is a smart fifth grader, and she barely has time to read the choices before it makes a default choice for you.

Let's the players make decisions to help determine the outcome of the game. Has a game direction instead of the original minecraft freeplay.

Good game with minecraft graphics, style, and a story! I would recommend this game to someone who plays minecraft regularly!

You dont have to be a fan of Minecraft to enjoy the story of this game. I actually bought the original Mincraft game becauae of this game because Minecraft Story Mode is THAT GOOD!!!!

It's got a nice story line and you get to choose how the story goes. So you can play it over and over changing the events of play.

My son purchased this game and has been a long Minecraft fan. He likes the game but in my opinion it is for the more diehard Minecraft player. It really is a Story Mode game when you have to follow the story and does not seem like there is a lot of action other then pressing the correct button at the correct time.

My daughter love this game.. It's a little bit difficult for an 8 year old but pretty cool

well, not all the episodes are out yet and my child has finished the first 4 pretty quickly. We got this on sale and my child has very much enjoyed it, so I would say it was a worthwhile purchase. I do think the amount of content is less than an average game.

I purchased this game for my son and daughter. They absolutely LOVE minecraft. So I also bought them for my cousins as gifts. This will be the top present This Christmas! in store pick up and the lowest price of any other store!

I bought this as a xmas present for my 7 yr old grandson who is a master at playing Minecraft. He has been wanting this version for some time so a xmas present is the way to go. From reading the reviews about the game, I know he will love it . With the story mode you get all five episodes of the adventure.

My kids really love it. My only complaint is that it says it's rated E10+ but it has some minor cursing. It's a minor complaint but I just wasn't aware of it when purchasing is the reason I am putting it out there.

This has been all my daughter has talked about. She's watched Youtube videos, read blogs, and even tried to go to friends houses just to watch them play this. We finally got it for her birthday and it is still all she talks about. This game has got to be good to hold her attention this well.

I bought the game for my son as a Christmas present, who is a Minecraft fanatic. He absolutely loves this game. He plays it more and more with each passing day. I am absolutely completely satisfied with this game as he loves it more and more the more he plays it.

Very cool for my God Daughters. You actually have to make decisions and create items. Episode 4 just downloaded in December. This season pass gives you all 5 episodes. Only 4 can be downloaded right now but 5 will be out later.

After hearing about the game from some friends, decided to pick up this one. Adds a great alternative to the sandbox game and the kids love it. Fun game play with a much needed departure from the standard title.

Good game for kids. Best buys game selection was slim for Playstion 3 games so we ordered online. We got the game in 2 days in the mail.

I bought it as a Christmas stocking stuffer, for my daughter. She loves it and enjoys playing during her down time from school.
