I had to get this to hookup my new surface pro to a 25 inch monitor. While the surface pro screen is ok as a tablet or laptop, I am also using the surface pro as a replacement for my Vista desktop. I have gotten use to the big monitors.

This is a great addition to my surface book allowing me to connect to an external display. This will greatly expand the versatility of my work flow with the surface book.

Had a few off brands of the Surface HDMI adapter that failed or didn't sync to certain monitors. Picked up the Microsoft HDMI adapter and haven't had any issues since.

I had to have this component to utilize my laptop with the large monitor I bought. It was easy to hook up and use. I have not had any problems with this item.

Does exactly what's it's intended to do. Easy to install. Only downside I can see is the mini display port does not have an identifier to show which side is front.

When my desktop finally died and i got my surface book, i picked this up to use with my old monitor. Its like my desktop never left but now i have dual screens

Needed it to connect from the surface dock to my monitor bc it wouldn’t work otherwise. I’m sure there are better solutions available now.

This is a must have accessory for the power user...traveling for work and needing to share presentation or project a movie or audio to hotel television / radio

Works as advertised. No problems sending display to a 23" monitor from my Surface Pro 3. Price a little steep, but I'm told cheaper cables have some issues

I bought this because I needed more desktop landscape, preferably something with a larger form factor. Its a quick and easy solution for that problem.

I love my surface pro, but the screen is too small for me to do graphic work. This cable allowed me to hook it up to my 22" monitor. Love it!

Surface Pro does not have an HDMI connection. This additional cost adapter works well to solve that problem - need to connect to TV and projector. Does require an audio connector as well.

Used this product to transfer a TV series that I had downloaded to my Surface Pro 3 and uploaded it to my Flat screen TV. Excellent transfer quality.

This mini display port-to-HDMI adapter also works with the original Surface Pro even though it is not mentioned in the product description.

Docking station works perfectly for the application. I have 2 27" 4k monitors hooked up and it all works great! Much easier to read.

Was able to quickly install on my Surface Book and connect to my television to display movies. Worked extremely well with no issues.

This adapter works like a charm! Allows me to use my larger monitor when I'm stationary. A bit pricey but for me was worth the purchase.

this Mini Display Port works great, the one thing is that you have to get a hdmi cable long enough to reach the port on the monitor.

Great interface between my Surface or Surface Dock and external monitor. It came recommended by a friend and works great for me.

All of our conference rooms have monitors that we use for meetings. My mini-port allows me to use my Surface Pro seamlessly.
