Docking station, wireless display, and mini display-to-HDMI adapter. And the cheapest one was the adapter. I am using it to connect it to my 55" 4K TV in my living room, and I can sit in my couch enjoying a great display with the clearest image. Wireless display was expensive and you did not get the full HD resolution. And I did not go for the docking station because I did not want to sit only at my desk. I wanted a more confortable way to check my e-mail and browse the web. I just connect my Logitech keyboard and mouse and via my Unifying software and adapter to the TV, and just sit back and start surfing .....

A lot of places do not have HDMI hook up that matches the surface pro products. This makes it much easier to do presentations, versus having to use a thumb drive which are always so easy to lose.

Great investment
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My Roku doesn't work with the campus wifi network (can't really remember why it's incompatible anymore), so I wanted a way to watch Netflix and simultaneously use my Surface to do school work. The hdmi adapter allowed me to use extended display with my tv to keep work open on my Surface monitor and Netflix open on my tv. This small piece of technology has helped me out a lot.

The Mini Display HMDI adapter is excellent.

It enable to enjoy better videos in bigger HDMI screen monitor. It works without problems and instantly connect you to HDMI monitor. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Genuine Microsoft is a must!!! The generic versions may not have the beveled edge needed to fit the Surface.
