Pros: 3D with a high level that looks impressive on my calibrated passive OLED. Dolby Atmos on a Blu, 3D itself. Even better on my calibrated 7.2.4 Digital copy. Lenticular slipcover. Cons: None.

It was a great movie for the kids they really enjoy it and I enjoyed the quality of it.

For characters that do not speak English they do quite a good job of entertaining with great nostalgia music for the adults. I was the skeptic because of how idiotic the characters work but after watching it a few times they grew on me.The story is actually well done even though they are minions. Definitely worth a watch through

I love the despicable franchise and this it's another that hit it out the park. It shows the story for the minions before gru and it's fun to watch, your kids will love it, has fun scenes and jokes

I loved the Despicable Me movies and when the studio announced that the minions were getting their own movie I was ecstatic. The Minions movie is a must-have to have in your movie collection!

This movie is great for kids because of the minions and for adults too because of the classic 60s music and just because everyone loves those little yellow guys!

These guys won my son over, he’s at the age that he’s not yet talking and to hear these guys sound close to him is heartwarming and funny.

I never saw this movie until I bought it for my one year old daughter and sat and watched it with her and thought it was so cute.

I saw this blu ray on a visit to Best Buy and it had a nice price. I enjoyed those little yellow critters from the Despicable movies, so decided to take a chance by buying this one.

My kids and I loved this movie. Minions is pure comedy. The movie is for children, but does have some appeal to adults. Its is certainly not meant to provide a special message to people. If you've see Despicable Me, you should already have figured that out. The trailers basically give an summary of the story line. A brief "history"/explanation of the minions is given in the beginning. The minions are in dismay without a leader. Three minions venture out to find someone, looking and looking. Since they are mischievous, its not someone well-mannered/polite they search for. It would not fit their personality. Once they find someone, the issue is still not fully solved. They must still "win" her over. Many mishaps take place, intentionally and not, leading to twists in the story line. The end is interesting. No point in going into details. I give credit to the creativity. Illumination creates a movie were the main characters don't speak a given language, yet you can figure out what is being implied. (Their "language" a combo of gabbling, Spanish, French, and a little English. Go see the Despicable Me Extras if you don't believe me.) They were able to establish different personalities to the main 3 minion characters, yet keep the "minion" traits. Each primary and secondary character usually had their own style or uniqueness.

It is a really good prequel story on the minions, and is just a good funny kid film. Love the DVD and digital option.

Enjoyable to rewatch with kids. Never boring. Good roadtrip movie for the kids to have in tablet library.

The grandkids have been wanting this one and a few others and Best Buy had them all, and at good prices.

No matter if it is for your kids or not, this movie constantly provides laughs and a good movie night.
