I have been buying technology exclusively at Best Buy for 20 years and this is the first time I've ever bought an item I've been unhappy with.
The camera takes dark pictures, the battery has a short lifespan (and I haven't found a source for spare batteries), and it randomly resets the date and time, so my pictures are archived incorrectly.
Very disappointed--I thought a Minolta camera would be better.

Bought this camera to take pictures for my job. It takes decent photos but doesn't have auto focus. The battery life is poor, I bought two of these cameras and am using the other battery as a spare. I can't for the life of me get the date to stay. Would I purchase this again.....NO I wish I would've returned during my return period.

The image quality is better than camera that it was going to replace (Nikon 14MP digital camera) but the button functionality is terrible. Several times when having a good shot lined up, the button just would not register the click. AT ALL. The image quality is alright, but not enough to justify the unsatisfactory nature of its physical functions.

I expected better from a point and shoot camera in 2025. It felt very cheap and plastically. Obviously it’s a low budget camera but I was very disappointed. It was extremely slow and unresponsive. I also should have read more carefully because I thought it had flash but it was just a weak continuous light you could turn on/off, essentially useless. I can’t believe Minolta would sell this at any price point. You’re much better off sticking with your phone camera.
