Cheap, but slow

Mint mobile is cheap, and that's about the best feature it has. Even though it uses T-Mobile network, speed and coverage is much worse than T-Mobile. There's heavy deprioritization happening. I would barely get 20Mbps down and 2Mbps up if I'm lucky to get a signal. Mind you this is on a brand new 5G capable phone. Oh get this. You get the same speed on 5G because of the deprioritization. lol

I bought mint moble SIM card several times when they are on sale. The quality and connection are pretty good, easy to set up and activate.

Easy setup but check phone compatibility

Had to check many other reviews and sites to make sure the phone model would work with Mint service. However calling customer service to help set up with a Google Pixel was quick and helpful, and so far the connection is reliable.

Good prepaid plan, strong cell reception being on the T-mobile network, unlimited calling, text and fast data. Just wish the plan came with more gigabytes of data for a starter plan.
