    Kurt Russell stars as the Hockey coach that set up a team to take on and defeat anyone in the 1980 Winter Olympics. The road was tough, but in the end, he had the best team in the entire world and won the USA Team a Gold medal, defeating the seemingly unbeatable Russian squad and the Finland team for the Gold medal round. What a fantastic sports movie! This is one of the best sports movies ever made. Hands down. Even if you are not a huge hockey fan, like myself, I loved it. I am a fan of Kurt Russell (Escape From New York, Escape From L.A., The Thing, Big Trouble in Little China). This Blu-ray/DVD combo set is the best it is ever going to get. The HD Blu-ray is outstanding on the 4K player and TV. I highly recommend! Easy selections in the menus.

    Sold as expected. With this disc, I was able to take 50 children in hockey camp on a journey through time and allow them to live arguably the greatest moment in US sports history.

    If you like hockey than you will love this movie. It is very true to the true story. And in the special features it really talks about the true story within the movie. Great movie

    If you love sports, then you will love this movie. This is one of the greatest moments in US sports history. We watched this on the way to Lake Placid. You won’t be disappointed!

    This classic retails the famous 1980 US Olympic hockey team. This was an incredible story especially if you lived through it. I would definitely recommend this movie.
