A good inspiring movie. I'm not a big sports fan, but enjoyed the movie.

I try to find the movie and someone at best buy lend me the code I Then buy online......but I receive the French version.....i am so sad.... The spend two weeks to arrive too...

Our bluray worked perfect but our DVD which we needed for our vehicle skipped throughout the movie. Very disappointing.

Let me begin by saying I think the 1980 US Men's Hockey win over the USSR and subsequent Gold Medal victory is one of, if not THE, most important sporting achievements this country has known. Between the Cold War, the gas crisis and everything else our country was dealing with at the time, this event took on a meaning greater than that of a sporting event. The entire world was involved. But enough about the event itself. The movie Miracle is a great film in and of itself. Kurt Russell is spot on as coach Herb Brooks. The cast of unknowns playing Mike Eruzione, Jim Craig, Jack O'Callahan, et. al turn in an amazing performance. And don't forget about Patricia Clarkson as Herb's wife. The acting was top notch, the sets and historical accuracy are also incredible. Blu-Ray really brings all of this to life. Most sports movies are simply formulaic and predictable. While we know the story of what the Olympic team went through, this movie presents it in such a heart felt and true to life manner. It is a must see!

This is a really great hockey movie, and a great sports movie overall. The thing that makes this such a great sports movie is that it is based on a true story. Not only is it that but the political battle that is fought on the ice in this movie is just something you have to read between the lines to understand. It's the Soviets versus the Americans on the ice, while we are fighting against them off the ice as well. This movie takes you from the making of the team, training all the way through the games. Watch the extra features and you will find out how far they went to replicate the actual plays from the real games that you see in the movie, so that they are exactly the same. As well as there are real ex-NHL players, and real college hockey players playing the parts in this movie. The looks of the guys they choose to play the parts in this movie are so extremely close to the real people it's phenomenal. If you are looking for a great story of the underdog trying to fight for victory, this is the movie you want. This is a must buy and will not let you down. Truly a great story in American history.

Miracle in my opinion is even better than slapshot. while it should be no surprise how the movie ends, it is your traditional sports scanerio. not only does the movie show what it took to get to the end, they also showed what was going on in the world during 1980. the action on the ice was shot so good that it seems that for the first time one can see how fast the sport of hockey really is. They did use real hockey players to play the various team members, as much of the movie takes place on ice. it would have been nice to see some more of the russians to show just how amazing the feat was, since the russians were the best team in the world (in any hockey not just international play). if you are looking for a give it your all no matter what the odds, then this will fit the bill.

This is hands down the best hockey movie ever created. The story is very gripping and when you realize that it's a true story you get even more involved in the drama. One thing that really bothers me about other hockey films is how disjointed the play on the ice is. The people who edit the films obviously don't pay attention to detail. This film however is very good in that area. This film is a must for any hockey fan.

My son wanted the movie and I couldn't find it anywhere locally. Although he had to wait a few days to get it, he has enjoyed it very much. Best Buy has a great selection and gets it to you in a timely manner. Hockey players will enjoy the movie!

This is a movie that shows a coaches journey with his team to be the best they can be. The coach is not always right or popular with the team but his decisions and coaching are there to not be their friend but be their leader.

This movie will have you cheering and feeling proud for your country! What a David and Goliath moment in sports history! Hockey fan or not Americans need to watch this movie! It will make you feel proud to come from the good old U S of A!

A must see for any hockey fan! I love that this movie is more realistic than most other hockey movies that i have seen. And even at over 2 hours in length this movie doesnt seem to drag on like many sports movies. I highly recommend!

Miracle is the of the best sports movies I have ever seen. some days I would watch the movie in my room 5 times in a row. It shows the emotion of how the player felt before, during, and after the 1980 winter Olympics.

Best sports movie of all time. It shows a bunch of college kids overcome the odds of beating the best hockey team in the world. It is so amazing because it is based on a true story.

This is a very well made movie of perhaps the best sports moment in U.S.A history. At that time, this win was more than just a hockey game.

Have always watched this on TV or on a DVD but so nice to have it on Blu-Ray now.

Owned this on VHS...wanted to see it in Blue Ray on my big screen TV. Love it!
