Great tracker. Can be worn on wrist or on your body. Tracks sleep. Tells you how long you sleep and also the quality of sleep you're getting.

I've been tracking this tracker since it was gift on Indiegogo. The idea was great, but I wanted to see it in person before I purchase. The reviews were okay, but not strong enough for me to buy. I purchased a FitBit One (good) and then a FitBit Force (recalled). I decided to finally try the Shine as a Daily Deal. I was excited to receive it. It was easy to set up and the build quality was too notch. I put it into its holder. I went to do the laundry and it magnetically stuck to the washer...thankfully it didn't fall off. I was doing house chores and it did fall off - at least twice. I walked around the block and it worked well. As soon as I walked into my house, it fell off again. I put it back on. I put a jacket on and sat in my car. It fell off again. I was excited to show my coworkers, but as I was about to, it fell off again. Disappointed, I put it into my coat pocket, went home, picked up the box, and returned it to my local Best Buy. When they come out with a version 2.0, I'll be interested in trying it again.

The tracker works great! I've compared it to other trackers and its definitely worth it. They have excellent customer service as well.

I like that this functions as a watch also and the fact I don't have to charge it! Runs on a watch battery. Good app too.

I like the functions of this tracker. However the difference between the flash and shine is not great enough to substantiate the higher price.

I was one of those people who almost bought a Shine when it was being Crowd Funded on Indegogo.com. I was very excited when I saw that the Shine had made it all the way to retail and it does what it advertises. The issues I found were that there were a few key activity tracking elements that were missing (mostly within the compatible app for iOS and Android). The first is that there is not heart rate monitoring which would make the activity tracking much more accurate. The second is that the API is closed which means no other apps can be developed to work with the shine. If they open the API the possibilities are endless!

I purchased it because it looks nice. It is easy to wear and tracks my movements very accurate. I havent tried it under water but i have been with it in the shower and no problems. Just be careful not to lose it. It felt from the band a couple of times.

Bought this as a gift for my wife, who is particular about tech. It took her a little while to get used to the tapping interface and to learn how to sync it, but she wears and uses it often. I had previously tried to get her on board with both a Fitbit and MS Band, but she dismissed them both as too technical. She happily treats the Misfit as a daily accessory with no fuss.

I love this gadget. I regularly check my activity through the day and if I am off my goal, it gets me off the couch and moving. It is the piece I needed to get me going. Not only that it tracks all types of activities. I do water aerobic classes and it registers the activity I do here. So, it is more than just a pedometer.

Works and looks great. Syncs to iPhone easily. Gets lots of looks form people when checking the time
