This shine was a gift for my daughter, I already have one and it measure running,walking and swimming along with your sleep patterns. Also the company is attentive to your needs as the app I guess picked up it was having trouble syncing so I received an email letting me know they would send me batteries if I filled out the form request. I did and in about a week my batteries came in the mail with the tool to remove the back. No more slow sync problems!

This device is great at tracking activity as long as you are actively moving. It would be nice if it could track activity when working with weights.

This is just great. I love the fact that I don't have to charge it every week and that its waterproof.

So glad I decided on this product. I love it! So easy to use and you don't have to charge it.

a;soI hoped to also be able to use it as a watch, but the display is impossible to see in the sun. I'd like to be able to calibrate it so the distance covered is accurate. For example, I hiked a known distance of 4 miles, but the Misfit only gave me credit for 2.7 miles.

I bought this and the wristband for my wife for Christmas. We are avid swimmers and divers so she really wanted one that can be worn while swimming. We are Android users and Misfit claims that it will sync with Androids (Samsung Galaxy specifically). It would not sync. At all. Luckily we have an iPad which it sync flawlessly up with. Since then, my wife has had no problems with it and loves it's flexibility. She wears it with the magnet during the day and on the wristband at night to monitor her sleep. Highly recommend if you are an Apple user.

The clasp, which is two pieces, on the wrist band snapped open and lost the small part within the first week. Cannot order clasp have to order new band. Works good for general tracking of daily activity.

This was a great deal and works wonderfully for me. This holds up to a lot of banging around. The misfit shine is awesome for keeping track of your activity throughout a day. Since getting this I have been more conscience of making sure I stay active. It has been very helpful.

I had the jawbone and loved all the features. I hated how bulky it was and it got a little wet while washing my hands and the whole thing stopped working. I exchanged it for the misfit shine and love the slim line style as well as the simplicity of use. I wish it tracked more activities like the jawbone did, but I like it a lot and love that it is waterproof. I have stopped wearing a watch because I just had too many things on my wrist. The clock feature works ok, but it is a little annoying because you can't just glance at your watch and see the time. you have to wait for it to flash the lights to indicate the time.

The Misfit Shine is a wonderful product. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to keep track of their steps and sleep on a daily basis! With it I now know I am walking over 10,000 steps a day! It is easy to wear - it does not need to just be on your wrist!!

I received misfit shine for my birthday. I have really enjoyed it so far to track my general daily activities, actual exercise, and sleep. I find it easy to use and it has an attractive design. I have been wearing it with the watch accessory. haven't taken it swimming yet but glad it has the capability. I find it to be durable.

I own Fitbit and Polar watch. I love the Misfit the look easy to wear on my neck, wrist, ankle under my bra. It's not in the way. Accurate, I can login to my Androi and see the count of steps. I like it better than the one I had purchased before

My husband and I both walked a 20-mile charity walk with our Shines on, and got different mileage results (2 miles difference), so I'm not sure about accuracy - but it works to motivate me to walk daily, so it meets it's purpose. I like that it can also tell time and can also track my weight. Sleep tracker is nice. I haven't tried the wake function yet. It's not clear to me what ''points' correlate to, and I can only set goals based on points. I'd like to set goals based on number of steps or distance. I also haven't figured out how to enter activities. Overall, the functionality is not the most intuitive, but I'm still happy with it because the basic features are easy to use.

It is a bit dated and the taps sometimes don't work. Syncing is pretty good on my iPhone but when I tried it on my Android... it was a bit annoying! I would only recommend this to anyone who needs minimal stats... if you need more robust stats, I would go for other bands!

I'm enjoying my Shine. It's fun easy to use and looks cool. The features, including a clock are very motivating. I like the long battery life and that it's water resistant.

A OK lower cost alternative to fitbit and jumpband. It doesn't need recharging for a year. The app does fail occ though.

Love that its waterproof and i dont have to charge it but its very basic and im not sure how accurate it is

i have had the up as well as the fitbit. this not only works as well but is way more stylish and feminine. there are a number of options that even make it more so.

So, I saw this activity tracker a while back and thought that it would be a great replacement for my nike fuelband. I wanted something a little easier to hide. However, the information given by the devices varies greatly. First of all, I could never get the hang of tapping the device to switch modes or to check activity. Once in a while i would get what I was looking for. Usually, I had to check my phone, which is very inconvenient while swimming. Also, even though the magnet is pretty powerful, and it stays put relatively well, I forget about it so easily I can't even count the times that I left it on different articles of clothing when changing. I had been checking my information regularly and noticed that I had information for sleeping patterns for nights that I know the device was accidentally left in the hamper. Needless to say, I automatically feel like I can't trust anything the device says.
