A great slice of life anime that has real heart to it. It has hilarous scenes, some ecchi, and some things that most adults can relate to. This is a must-have for any anime fan and for new people who like something relatable to life but in a humorous and fantasy tale.

For anyone who has seen the anime or read the manga, this DVD is a great addition to your collection of other animes. Full of laughs and good times, I'd certainly suggest to many people that they get this item.

This anime is a comedic joy. It is about a dragon who changes to a personal maid when a OL (office lady) saves her in order to learn more about humans as well as a to repay her debt. Along the way, other dragons appear as humans and they all get along. The problems is with the subs. Sometimes the subs appear on the screen very briefly and at times they clutter the screen. It doesn't happen that often, but it does happen a couple of times per episode...

I love the description of dragons, dragon factions, gods, and a separate fantasy dimension from the dimension of the real world.

Dragon Maid is one of my favorite anime. It’s a nice down to Earth, slice of life show. I can watch this over and over.

One of the surprise hits of 2017, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid is a fun watch from start to finish. For the purists, this comes with original Japanese audio with subtitles, or for those looking for a more relaxed watch, Funimation put together a fantastic dub crew. Either way, this will not disappoint.

The premise for this anime is simple -a working-class citizen somehow winds up with her own maid...who also just so happens to be a dragon! Packed with memorable characters and a lot of humor and heart to boot, this show really helped lift me up during a difficult time, and I would really recommend it for anyone needing a boost in their day.

Adorable fantasy slice of life anime with just enough well put together drama, action and world-building to set it apart from most of the similar series done recently. This is also one of Funimation's better blu ray releases, as it features all of the shorts and OVA and is mostly free of common animation PQ issues such as banding and aliasing.

If you like comedy, work/home balance, innuendo, and dragons, this is likely a good series to at least watch, if not own. Even with all the various tropes that the series brings to light, it's still quite good, and doesn't get too serious. A few touching moments made me want to own it, and I'm happy with the purchase and the series.
