This little farce is worth a look. It features Frances McDormand and Amy Adams in a story set in England during the lull between WWI and WWII. Lee Pace (Thranduil in Lord of the Rings) makes an appearance as Adams' love interest. Ciaran Hinds also appears as McDormand's suitor.

Great movie. Some very good lines. Frances McDordmand very good as always. Looks like a chic flick on the surface but much better than that. The club scene where Amy and Lee sing is a classic. Amy was particularly spectacular. I think the way she enters the "stage" at the club to sing is the way all women should enter a room.

I'm a Frances McDormand fan and I really liked this movie. Amy Adams was adorable, as usual. The plot was good and the ending was very satisfying.
