I'm going to put it out there right from the start: I'm not a fan of Tom Cruise. That being said, I truly enjoy the Mission: Impossible movies and I admit he does a great job in all of them. And they pull off something extremely rare in the world of film and that is the movies get better with each successive entry in the series (with the possible exception of M:I2). The Blu-ray quality is, naturally, very good in picture and sound and the extras are also informative. The price point for this collection also makes it well worth getting. If you like action and spy films, the Mission: Impossible series is a fun, exciting, enjoyable and re-watchable one.

For the price of this set, it is a must have for any Tom Cruise fan. The set has a slip cover and features 5 discs. Mission Impossible has some over the top stuff, but doesn't make it less enjoyable. The stunts are great as well as the story. It's about a secret agent who goes through secret missions while maintaining a double life. His life of secrecy may get His loved ones in trouble though. The movies keep you entertained and there are great thrills throughout.

Never had the chance to see MI: Rogue Nation before, but wanted to get all caught up before going to MI: Fallout. I didn’t have the other movies on blu-ray either, and definitely wanted them in my collection, so since the set was on sale, it was a no-brainer. To save shelf space, I could’ve waited until they release another version with Fallout, but oh well. Out of all of them, MI:2 is the clunkiest, but overall a fun action series!

First 5 Fun MI films Blu-Ray

Since Tom Cruise rebooted Mission Impossible, the films have been good to great fun. I haven't checked to see if these are the original Blue-Ray releases but I suspect they are. All the disks have extras with directors commentary on 3 and 5 (Tom Cruise and Director Christopher McQuarrie have great rapport). If there is a problem with the franchise, it's that it's more about the star than the team, but Cruise keeps getting better as an action hero. Great stunts. Specially after Abrams took over, a feeling that fights and stunts hurt. If you like "Bond", and Cruise, and if don't already own these... go for it. Good deal.

4 great movies and 1 awful one

There are 5 movies in this set and 4 of them are fantastic. Unfortunately, Mission Impossible 2 exists and it's really painful to sit through. I don't know who thought this was a good idea, but the plot was thinner than usual for an MI movie and the action was awful. That's especially surprising given that John Woo directed this. Honestly, MI2 is what made me dislike Woo as a director. It's that bad. The other movies are great, each one better than the last (ignoring MI2 of course). 4 fun movies out of 5 is an accurate description and an accurate rating.

In order to see the latest installment (Fallout), I needed to catch-up on the missions I'd missed... which was most of them. Lucky for me (and you), this 5-movie set is extremely affordable and presents the earlier missions in crystal-clear HD with all the bonus features from their original release. I binge-watched all five in one day and I have no regrets.

As a self-proclaimed movie lover, I always had the shame of having never seen the Mission Impossible movies. With Fallout in theaters, I knew I had to rectify that. I was thrilled to find this collection, bundling all the movies together on Bluray. The movies themselves are just okay overall. The older films are kind of cheesy, and while some of it is tongue-in-cheek, it doesn't all hold up today. The transfers are okay, certainly better than DVD quality, and it's great that they included special features on-disc.

The first one was meh, the second was ok, but they seem to keep getting better over time. Must be because Tom is doing most of his own stunts. I also do my own stunts. Except they aren't climbing tall buildings or hanging out of a helicopter. It's mostly just random stuff like brushing my teeth and making coffee.

I picked up the MIP set that has all 5 movies to date, it was well worth it for 20 bucks, you get all the movies on Bluray in great quality and they have all the extras. Sure the second movie is cheesy but from 3 on they are awesome and worth being in your collection. The 1st movie is also really good as well.

This is a great deal on the first five Mission Impossible films. You can even use the second movie as a coaster, while you enjoy the 4 other great movies that come in the set! All joking aside, I highly recommend it, especially if you can fond it on sale. I was able to get the 5 movies for $19.99.

While the Mission: impossible franchise has continued past Rogue Nation I couldn't pass this set up. For over 20 years Tom Cruise has consistently gave his all to this series. Even as it's gotten further from it's source material it's remained fun. From DePalma's whodunit opening chapter to McQuarrie's solid fifth film they've varied in quality, but never jumped the shark. And finding this set for just over $20 it was a must buy. That's less than $5 a film!

For only $19.99, I bought the first five Mission: Impossible movies all on high-definition Blu-Ray. I remember that being the price of just one movie when they originally came out, so buying all five for the price of one was quite the deal. I marathoned the whole franchise before seeing MI6 in theaters; needless to say some movies were better than others. But I really enjoy this series' smart yet action-packed adventures and I highly recommend it!

Part 1 feels a little weird to watch because it's so different from the rest, and it looks just okay in blu ray. Part 2 looks decent on blu ray but nothing more. The rest look great, and overall it's a great collection to have for the price

I love Mission Impossible. I liked the 1960s series and I like the new versions even better. The action in the new mission impossible are mind blowing edge of your seat entertainment. You can't go wrong with this movie.
