    Great Movie & Steelbook

Tom Cruise once again stars as agent Ethan Hunt in the sixth film of the Mission Impossible franchise. Co-star Henry Cavill (of recent Superman fame) provides a great performance as Agent Hunt's opponent in this latest adventure. The steelbook is nice looking. The art on the exterior as well as the interior was well thought out. The movie itself looks and sounds great in my home theater. If you like the Mission Impossible movies as much as I do, this is a must-get for your collection. And if you're able to get the steelbook, I think you'll like it as much as i do.

Good movie, really bad image quality Blue-ray.

I'm a big fan of the MI franchise and something I love of every movie is the tech evolution, the missions and the action among other things. In my opinion Fallout is not as great as the previous ones but still very enjoyable to watch. Now technically speaking, I'm dissapointed with the image quality of this blu-ray, isn't the best. I'm not sure if this was a purposed choice for the movie to look so grainy or if the transfer process wasn't done properly but either way it doesn't looks that great. I'm wondering if the 4K UHD blue-ray version have the same mediocre image quality which it will be awful considering the price of the 4K blue-ray version. Good thing I got the b-y disc on special for $9.99, basically the dvd price, no bad at all.

Looking for the Best Action Movie of 2018?

Here it is. Sure, the movie may not be smart, but how many action movies are these days? What does an action movie need? Action. Mission Impossible Fallout delivers. When I watch this movie, I am drawn into an action movie that may be likened to some of Jackie Chan's work. Watch this movie, and then you'll notice more so how much green screen, stunt double fill-ins, and face hiding shots are in so many of the other action movies. I could go on like a Hulu commercial right now, this movie ruins other action movies. Go watch this thing and feel a smile grow on your face from the utter beauty of this movie's action. Go watch this thing and feel the sweat grow on your hands and underarms from the tension found in this movie. Enough said.

    The Best Yet

This is by far the best Mission movies to ever be released. With spectacular stunts and an amazing score, Mission Impossible: Fallout is the best yet in the franchise. This 4K release has action you cannot believe you are seeing, especially the HALO jump sequence and the climax’s helicopter sequence. This release also benefits from the fantastic surround sound quality. The special features on this release are very in-depth and plentiful as they explore the return to the franchise and go into great detail on how they constructed the intricate and complex stunt sequences. It also comes with a free digital redemption code. This is definitely worth picking up on 4K to enjoy the best experience that this film can offer.

Tom Cruise is crazier than ever

The last three MI movies have just gotten better and better. The secret to a good Tom Cruise movie is just to let him be crazy. I don't know how he hasn't died yet and that the biggest fiasco on this movie was him hurting his knee. The stakes are higher than ever, simply because there is consistency and continuation from other movies. Most sequels throw conflict that is grounded in some history, but this one takes that history and tries to kill the protagonist with it. Absolutely bonkers that I can lovingly say I would watch this movie once a week if I had the time.

Mission: Impossible - Fallout is a great addition to the series. The movie is filled with action and incredible stunts, many of them performed by Tom Cruise. The story brings back characters from earlier in the Mission Impossible franchise but it isn't necessary to have watched the previous movies to enjoy this one. The 4k picture and sound is of the highest quality. I would recommend this 4k version to anyone who enjoys action movies and as good source material for showing off your home theater's picture and sound quality.

My wife and I don't go to the movie theatre anymore, mainly because the experience just isn't what it used to be. Nowadays, we have nice 4k HDR televisions and Dolby Atmos capable audio systems. Watching MI movies is something we absolutely LOVE! Nothing beats the audio on these discs, no compression, shaking walls and house, and GORGEOUS views in this movie. Tom Cruise is absolutely crazy, and we are completely fine with that! This is my favorite of all the series...but I say that every time a new one comes out!

Entertaining MI installment - I think one of the better in the series. Steelbook had ripped thru the shipping envelope so one of the corners was scratched to the metal - for the price I can't complain.

    The Best One Yet!

First off, it is the 6th Mission Impossible film; if you don't know what you're in for, you haven't been paying attention! This one is the best one yet, by far. The action, phenomenal. The continuation of the story beats from Rogue Nation, well executed. The more personal elements of the characters' stories? Surprisingly heavy. If you hate the others, this is unlikely to change your mind. However, if you like this franchise or action films in general, it is IMPOSSIBLE to go wrong here.

The M.I. series keeps getting better. Filled with action and suspense this movie keeps your heart racing. Like all the M.I. series, once you set aside the normal guidelines of belief/reality this movie truly becomes extremely enjoyable. If you like to watch a movie based on reality and what is possible, this movie is not for you. Tom Cruise out does himself again by doing ALL of his own stunts, I. E. HALO jumps from insane heights, jumping from buildings and breaking his foot, etc...

Like the Fast and the Furious franchise, I feel that the MI franchise gets a bit better with each installment. In Fallout, what stood out in particular was how often and how clearly the plot moves forward due to the main character's choices. It may seem simple, but it adds a depth of character that most action movies lack. Plot-wise, it is pretty standard but the action scenes are done well. Disc is great picture and sound, with decent special features as well. Overall recommended.

Highly Recommended for Action Junkies who like a bit of smarts and innovation sprinkled in. Yes, Tom Cruise is still shouldering the brunt of this series weight, and amazingly the series is still better for it (HALO Jumps, piloting helicopters in chase scenes thru mountainous terrain, just to name a couple items of what he, not a stunt double, does in MI 6 alone). This is a popcorn blockbuster which leaves you no time to refill the minute you press play.

In my opinion, this is the best MI movie next to the original. Does an excellent job of building tension and keeping you glue to the action for the duration of the film. Tom Cruise takes an enormous beating throughout the movie and you're left wondering whether he is part bionic? superhuman? alien? This isn't a marvel movie but my god this 50 year old can still kick some villainous rear-ends. The best of the action genre that we have seen in the last few years.

Most series of sequels lose impact with each generation. Surprisingly some of these have improved with subsequent outings. This may be one of the best of the lot with a strong story line and the expected usual action sequences. If you can suspend logic a couple of times you will enjoy going with the flow. It helps to have seen the former one or two of the series. But they just keep upping the ante when things blow up and race through the streets. Pure fun!

    Best action movie of 2018

While the steelbook could’ve looked somewhat cooler with a matte finish, it’s still quite the looker and you’re getting the best action movie of 2018 as well. Seriously. While the plot may be somewhat convoluted, the craftsmanship behind the action sequences and rudimentary scenes is ridiculously good. Lorne Balfe’s musical score is great and the cast, while clearly not intending to give Oscar caliber performances, genuinely sell the action and the stakes.

Since MI:3, each M.I. film has been arguably better than the last. The bonus content is worth the price of admission. Seeing the behind-the-scenes for all of the stunts will double your amazement with the film. Tom Cruise really put himself through the ringer on this one and even learned to fly a one-man helicopter so he could perform the helicopter fight since himself! Come on! Who can top that?

Two years after Ethan Hunt had successfully captured Solomon Lane, the remnants of the Syndicate have reformed into another organization called the Apostles. Ethan and his IMF team, along with some familiar allies, race against time after a mission gone wrong. Fallout, the sixth installment in the Mission: Impossible film series, is a terrific action adventure film from start to finish. Lots of fun to watch. Don't miss it.

The last one was very good. But this one story wise I think blows it out of the water. The action is very immersive as well, very well done. Tom Cruise breaks his ankle in one of the chase scenes during filming and they use the take before the break, so you know he's dedicated, plus they actually jumped from a plane 25,000 feet in the air. One of the best and immersive scenes in the movie by the way. Henry Cavill is pretty good in it too which is a surprise because I don't think he's that good of an actor. The superman role really messed him up but that's another story for another time. But yes this is an experience you need to see. Rent, buy it whatever you can afford but WATCH IT!!!!!!!

I watched Mission Impossible Fallout and thought it was a great action movie. Unfortunately, I do not have a 4K DVD player but I do have a Bluray player so I could watch that particular disc (there are 3 discs- the regular movie; special effects and scenes; and a 4K disc that my player could not play). I may need to upgrade to a 4K player since I have a 4K TV and some movies are coming out in 4K now.
