Great projector!

It's not a cheap unit, but cheaper than most other 1080p PJs. I am amazed at how clear the picture is on the screen and would recommend this to anyone looking to build a home theater. Be careful you have the room to mount the projector. The throw distance isn't very much so you won't be able to mount the PJ wherever you want. I ceiling mounted mine and the location was acceptable.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with the HC5500. Delivers a very, very good picture. Crisp and clear. The remote is easy to use thus far as well. For the price (I got it less than $2,400 this summer plus free bulb and rebate) I do not see how you could go wrong. Have some friends with the Sony and they say my HC5500 has a brighter picture. They were impressed.
