Hello, First, I would like to say that this game has better graphics than any basketball or football game I have purchased so far. This is my first baseball game purchase. The only bad thing I have to say about this game is that it doesn't feature a tutorial mode, and me being new to baseball games did horribly in the first couple games. I started to get good after I got the hang of it. This game features helpful hints that come up during the game. Good graphics and very realistic. Good commentary, most lines are not repeated over and over like in other sports games. Replay is great. Total pitch control and allows you to control the game. Features a season mode, franchise mode, career mode (enables you to start out in the minors and work your way up into the big leagues), updated rosters, excellent pitching graphics (shows good replay), allows you to build a dynasty and really take your team where you want to go and as long as you play the game it allows you too ensure that your team will make the playoffs (etc.). Recommended game and any baseball fan should have this game. Very realistic and a very fun and relaxing game. - Thank you for reading. I hope this review helped you in making your decision.

Overall, this is a wonderful baseball game. I was looking for an at-least halfway decent baseball game for the PS2. Picking out this game, I got more than I expected. Pros: First, I love the overall 'feel' of the gameplay. The details of the sights and sounds make it feel like you're really at a baseball game in your hometown. At the K in KC, the announcers make references to I-70 HWY and you can see the FCA building the background. When you pause the game to grab a snack or get the phone...or whatever you do when you pause the game...the announcer will belt out an occasional announcement. I also love the variety of different game modes. There's franchise (my favorite), career, road to the show, etc, that will keep you playing for a long time. And I tip my hat to the graphics...the players actually look like themselves. Cons: There aren't a lot, but there are some. First, controlling multiple baserunners is a little difficult. If I can't send them all, I don't send any. I'm still working at getting ths down, but it is tricky. I recommend classic baserunning. Second, the fielding controls can tend to get a bit irritating. For example, a batter will pop a ball up behind first, and the shortstop is automatically selected to catch it. I'm unsure why the closest fielder isn't selected. It's not a big deal if it's a high pop up, because you can switch your players if you need to. However, with a short pop up or an infield ball, you have to get your player over fast, and they don't always make it. But I won't complain, I'm glad I got the game, and the benefits definitely outweigh the cons.

The game has alot more features in it than 06. You have a guess location where you can guess where he is going to pitch it. The graphics are good, but they aren't the best. Thats the only thing I think they should improve on. The rosters are updated. I think that if you are ever wondering what baseball game you should get with updated rosters, it should always be MLB 06: The Show.

This game is 5 stars in my book. I am a proud owner of this game. Every time my friends come over we play this game. I am currently in a season, career mode, and have friends in the same, also doing a franchise. This game has excellent graphics & makes the pitches seem so real, with the velocity and break. One important feature is in a career, franchise, or season mode, you are allowed to add sliders, or things to help out your game or make it tougher. Also, something that could be bad for the game, is every time in a career mode, the game slightly freezes when you are being taken out of a game, whether for a pitcher replacement or a pitch-hitter. I like it though, it allows me to know when im being taken out so I don't get easily surprised. The game also has editing & other features to help make players better in all fields or to trade and change the rosters if you own the game for a long period of time. By the looks of this game, I can't wait for MLB '08!

This baseball game is addicting. The career mode takes you through the AAA league as well as the majors, offering constant competition and fun in order to raise your player to what it takes to play in the bigs. Normal play modes are also good, the homerun derby and otehr similar mini games are always a hit and good for having a few friends over to see who does the best. Overall this game offers endless amounts of entertainment and leaves you thinking about the next big move you're going to make with your person.

This game is the best baseball simulator in the videogaming industry. The graphics are great for the PS2 standards, the controls are smooth and the game can be very addicting. Time just flys by when you play this game because you get so hooked so fast. You get so into this game. Worth the money and I also would recemend it for the PSP for those long trips.

This game is addicting. The Career mode enables you to start out in the minors and work your way up the system. It is so fun to play this mode for hours. I would highly reccomend this game to all baseball fans.

Without writing a long boring review, suffice to say the game play isn't overy difficult, very user friendly and intuitive. Hitting and pitching rival EA MVP baseball, (Which is saying allot). The depth of Franchise Mode is unparalled. Creat, Edit and trade players, build your dynasty. The career mode is a blast, working your way from making a roster, starting in the minors all the way to becomming a star. Exceptional game, hours of fun to play. Bottom line....a total blast, exceptional value!

This is the best sports game I have every played. The career mode is dynamic. You only play when your player is involved on the field. Then it will skip to your next appearance. You work your way up through the minors like no other baseball game. Unfortunately the commentary is below par. I sometimes play with the tv on mute because the guys talking are annoying and bring nothing to the game.

aside from the great career mode, this game is a pale imitation of ea sports mlb. the designers obviously put a lot more focus on animation than smooth game play. baserunning is awful and confusing. even in manual modes, you have little control over slides and fielding. several times, ive been caught stealing as my player decides to jog the last few steps to the base to come in standing. also despite having an excellent baserunner, late breaks and slow running is very common. PITCHING is extremely frustrating because even if you hit the marks exactly, the ball still goes pretty much where the CPU feels like putting it. if you arent interested in career mode dont waste your money on this. ea's game is superior in every way.

This game is one of the best baseball games I have ever played. It is more realistic with its pitching and fielding. The real issue with the game is the baserunning, I could never really figure out how to work it and it was frustrating. Overall, I would recommend this bame to any one looking for a new baseball game.

This is the mother of all baseball games. As realistic as it can get and just plain fun for hours and hours. The season mode is awesome! Wether or not your team has been in the World Series or not, you can guarantee that at least you'll make it. There's nothing they leave out in this everything is on the money. Even the commentary is good it has something like 10 or 15 thousand lines. This is just top notch baseball any fan of the game should have this. As long as they keep making this game every year I'll be buying it for sure.

This is a good game,but in my opinion it can get a little boring once you play it a lot. But i would recommend this to you to buy.

This is a high step up from what was in 06 to now in 07. It is fun playing as the manager for games and even better beating guys on line. Me and my friend create Fantasy League's and play agianst each other for kicks. I would highly recomend any true baseball fan this game.

This game has awsome game play. You can create your own player and take him through a career in "Road To The Show" mode. You can spend hours of playing it. And this game is so totally worth the money. I can't wait for the 08 game.

This is the best baseball game to date. The personal season mode is an unbelievable game mode and made the game worth the buy.

Over all its a good, fun game. It has its ups and downs but i love it.
