This year's version is even more realistic with the licensed gear and apparel. The additional modes are still here to play around in and my personal favorite The Show Live allows you to play current day games with live rosters and commentary.

I bought this for my son and he enjoys playing it. I have also played it a little. It has a number of modes that I've not messed with at all, but I've enjoyed the exhibition games that I've done and my son loves the customizable rosters and drafting. The gameplay is challenging, but not overwhelming. A solid game overall.

This is a fantastic addition to my PS4 library...lots of different modes, online play, and great-looking to boot! This game continues Sony's strong baseball franchise...if you are a fan of the sport, don't hesitate!

everything is so real and lifelike. The players look amazing and the graphics are unbelievable . You really feel like you are at the stadium. Great game. If you are a baseball fan you will love this

This is a great game. Physics, graphics, rosters, stadiums, etc. are all there. Battle your way to the championship. Remember that the boys of summer will always get knocked out by the men of October!

I'm not a huge baseball fan but picked up this game on sale. I must say, it is the definitive baseball game. Like the controls for bat swinging. Can choose between using buttons or stick. The game is gorgous and the player animations are fantastic. Some clips look like they're from a real game.

This years show has to be the best game in the series so far. No major improvements but the new minor stuff that has been added like lighting and animations really make the game a better experience.

While it is isn't the biggest update for the yearly release, it is a lot of fun. The graphics are better than last year's release, but it also has a few gameplay changes. There were a few changes to each of the batting/pitching options and at times, they could be a little bit more clear to the new changes. This is especially true with the pure analog hitting. The new feature of being able to use your previous character from last year's game was a great addition. Being able to continue playing a character and his progression was a ton of fun and didn't require me to having to start all over from zero. Road to the Show seems about the same as does the fielding mechanics. The only difference I really noticed was for Road of the Show where you can now add gear that gives bonus stats. Overall, a real fun game that suffers from what most yearly releases do. It has enough changes to warrant the purchase, but it has to be at the right price.

Like I said, it's the best baseball game out there. Love the graphics and the game play. Also like doing the card collecting which Took some extra money out of my pocket. Lol

I have been purchasing MLB the Show games for many years now, and I can't think of any game that has come close to this one. Very realistic, fun to play, and challenging.

I thought that this would be an easy, leisure game to pick up at a good price. It's quite challenging! But it's a challenging in a good way. Hitting can be tough at times. The graphics are great, and the detail is incredible. Especially during night games.

Have only played it one time since buying it. The series is one of the reasons I switched from xbox to playstation. Great graphics and game play is easy to learn.

The game is unlike any other mlb game ive played before. I haven't played any of the previous versions of this game, but I have played plenty of other mlb oriented games. This was fun realistic and and challenging at times which i like.

Been a while since I had a baseball game. I don't remember any other baseball game being as detailed and as fun. Road to the Show mode is my favorite.

This game is really fun. I would recommend this game to friends and family what I like the most is the graphics and how real to life the charactera

Dislike having to play the regular Giants/royals for the first game so it can tell you between inning all the changes in the new version. Otherwise solid game with easy controls. My 7yr old can play with me and we do fine.

Haven't done anything but The Road to the Show and I love it, excellent graphics and I like the dynamics options that make it harder as you go.

While in no way perfect, this game still manages to increase the realism over last years edition, although it may be more difficult because of this. Still a great game that I would recommend to any baseball enthusiast.

Still figuring out the outfield movements, but we have had a lot of fun with this game. Rosters are up to date and game is a lot of fun.
