MLB The Show 23 offers a deep baseball simulation with a variety of new features to gameplay, Diamond Dynasty and franchise mode, but almost nothing new in RTTS. MLB The Show 23 is another solid addition in what is the best annual sports sim franchise.

Bought for my boyfriend to go along with his new Ps5 and he loves the game. He is a big baseball fan and loves playing this all the time.

This is my first 'The Show' installment since purchasing my PS5 and I really enjoyed this game. Really smooth gameplay and load times are almost non-existent. I really enjoyed the 'Leagues' mode (had to take out the first part due to censorship) as it was enjoyable and informative. Playing as Satchel Paige was extremely fun. RTTS is enjoyable still, but I wish there was more depth (going DH, adding secondary positions, picking your MLB team other than your favorite team or random, lineup position, etc). I also wish the perk system was gone as it gets annoying collecting multiple quantities of the same perk, switching them out, and having to readjust pitch repertoire. Maybe switch back to archetypes? I've actually never played Diamon Dynasty despite having bought every iteration since '17, but this game got me curious, so I finally gave it a try. I'm having fun with DD and creating my own team, especially being able to play single player as I was under the impression it was an online only mode. One last note, why make somebody who has spent nearly 30% of his career on the IL the cover athlete? I get they wanted somebody young and exciting, but there are plenty of other players who embody both as well (Jeremy Pena, Bo Bichette, Vlad, Julio, etc). However, this is just a minor nitpick.

As an avid follower of MLB The Show since 2017, I must say that the 2023 edition of this game has truly left me in awe. The graphics are nothing short of extraordinary, setting a new standard in the gaming industry. What sets it apart even more is the incorporation of difficulty levels tailored to suit every user. Personally, I have found immense pleasure in the progressive difficulty feature, particularly as I initially found myself a bit rusty. However, as I gradually got back into the swing of things, the game skillfully adapted to challenge me accordingly. Whether you prefer playing alongside friends, engaging in online matchups, or immersing yourself in solitary gameplay, rest assured that this game has thoughtfully catered to all types of players.

I bought this game for my 10 year old son who breathes baseball and he loves this game. He still plays this game almost every day. The graphics for this game is like watching a real baseball game. I recommend this game to every baseball fan.

I know most people say that it is the same game every year, but there are so many more improvements to the game. The sound of the ball when it hits the bat is better, the believability of the CPU, and just overall gameplay.

Good it for my little brother was so excited when he got it. Brand new and the pickup service was easy to navigate!!

LOVE this game! The graphics and details in everything from announcers commentary to subtle ballpark elements really makes this a fun baseball experience. Next to 2K, probably the best sports sim game on the market.

Awesome game. Once again the show hit the ball out of the park one more time. My sons love’s it , the graphics, features everything looks so real I will say this is the best baseball game ever made yet.

great game by son loves it, My son plays baseball and wanted this game. We found it at best buy for a great price. The graphics are great. If you are looking for a baseball game this is the one for you. If you have kids who like to play deficiently consider this game. We ordered online and it was available in the store the next day.

The game looks better than the previous 22 version and is smoother. The only negative I have is that it has the same umpiring issues as 22. There are way too many missed ball/strike calls at home plate. I expect a few but the percentage of missed calls is way too high compared to a real life MLB umpire. Overall a fun and exciting game.
