Love this movie, my son loves it and watches it all the time!

Though not my favorite out of the Disney family movies, it is still that Disney quality we expect. It's already been voted to lead off the summer outdoor movie and bonfire weekends at our place.

Pros: Great story, beautiful scenes & funny. 3D (medium level) on a calibrated OLED 7.1 sound was great on my 7.2.4. Digital copy. Lenticular Slipcover. Cons: No Atmos in 2017.

Sometimes animations covey more serious massages than movies. Moana is one of those animations, and I remember feeling courage and enthusiasm after watching it. I adore the films were girls and kids, two layers of society who are at least valued and taken seriously, become vital heroic characters. Moana teaches her audience to be brave, never restrict themselves with fear, be what they want to be, and believe in themselves. These are the same characteristics frequently weakened by societal pressure. It was empowering to see how a girl could rescue an entire village fighting against "Gods" and beating all the odds. Another vital message that I noticed was how humans are inseparable from nature, and every action they take has a significant influence on nature. The animation tries to show that if we continue acting as irresponsible agents towards the environment, nature will punish us, and then we could do nothing about it. Humans can never be isolated from the natural environment. Nature suffers, so does all the human beings.

My daughter loves this movie so I picked up a copy on sale for the physical just in case we can’t stream. It’s a fun story especially to feature a female hero for your little girl to relate to aside from the usual Spider-Man’s, X-men, Star Wars etc… And it’s great the digital download is included too.

Perfect film, & so glad Best Buy had this in Disney 100 packaging. Nothing new or different with this blu-ray in comparison to other "Moana" blu-ray releases through the years before today...other than the Disney 100 packaging.

We had recently taken a trip to Hawaii. I purchased as a gift to keep the spirit of our trip going and they loved it. In fact, we understand that Disney combined many of the Polynesian cultures together to make this movie.

I didn't know anything about the movie before I first watched it. When the movie ended, everyone in my family said it was great. The animation looks amazing, the songs are catchy and the jokes really made all of us laugh. Rather than rent the movie again, I went to my local Best Buy store and bought it. I've lost count on the number of times the movie has been played in my house since then.

This is my favorite type of steelbook, it has a stationary spine and it has nice artwork. Love that Disney is quickly releasing so many of their Pixar, Disney Feature Animation and Marvel movies in 4K. This comes with the 4K disc as well has a regular bluray disc and a digital code that redeems for a 4K version of the movie on VUDU or Fandango Now. Very happy with this release

One more in a line of enjoyable Disney family animated features that showcase great animation, music and vocal performances. So gather the family, pop the popcorn and enjoy the adventures of Moana as she sets sail on quest to save her island and peoples from a blight that has befallen her island home. With a worldwide gross of over $643 million, they all can't be wrong and neither am I.

Moana is a great movie for all ages. Moana a young Islander princess doesn't think she should be the next cheif like her father wants. Yet her grandmother encourages her to be who she feels she should be. Thus it pushes her to the adventure of her life time and going to meet the demigod Maui to return the heart of Teifitie and bring life and balance back to the world.

This is not the cheapest way to watch the movie, but since they removed it from netflix just recently i picked this up for $20 and with the digital copy in conjuction with Movies Anywhere my daughter can watch this anywhere we go! and the blu-ray quality is great! The movie overall is very good a little tired of watching it 6 times a day but the songs are good.

Moana is a must have in your household. This Disney movie was not only awesome for the kids but also us adults. The music and songs depicted in this film is a must watch. We have watched this movie countless times and everytime the movie played in HD with no lagging or issues. You will never grow tired of having this movie on replay.

If you think this movie looks good on DVD or Blu-ray, you have no idea what you have in store with the 4K UHD Blu-ray. Everything pops more and is extremely sharper and the colors are contrasted perfectly with the HDR. You don't have access to Disney plus I suggest you pick up this copy and enjoy this film like never before.

If you're at all questioning the quality of the movie, let me fix that for you: It's great. The opening song sequence is a masterwork in cinema, and Disney's mission to increase ethnic representations is valuable and well-executed. Parents: load the digital code immediately so you can run this without discs on all your devices!

Moana is a fantastic movie to watch with the grandkids. Fun, funny and full of family fun. How can you NOT LOVE this gem of a movie. The Grandkids would have given anything to watch it more than once on their last visit. I see this being one of the go to movies when they come to visit "G-Dopey" as they so affectionately call me.

My daughter went to see rhis movie in the theater when it came out. She kept going on and on about how good it was, so of course I had to buy it when it came out on DVD. We went to Best Buy, bought it and had a family movie night. Moana is a great movie. If you haven't seen it yet, do yourself a favor and watch it

Watched this, side by side with the Disney plus 4K version... The Disney plus looked great. However, the disc version is so much better that it makes you wonder if streaming things in 4K is even an acceptable option anymore. I was shocked that something that looked great streaming could look this much better.

This movie is fun for all ages. Duane Johnson is great as the demigod Maui, and the story line is well-developed, The music supports the story line well and, all in all, it's a fun story. The copy I bought had Blu-Ray, DVD, and digital copies, and also had a reasonable price. My family and i really enjoyed it.
