The first part of Gundam 00 season two did a good job of bring you up to speed with what happened in season one, actually it suprised me considering Gundam Seed Destiny felt it necessary to smash your head in with the previous events. The action sequences were well done as to be expected, they did a good job droping in some more light-hearted scenes to break up all serious doom and gloom and there was good writing and voice acting (they tried to "lighten up" Setsuna, but he's still more like a tasteless box of mash-potatoes). In the end, it's a very good series but it doesn't blow me away or anything like prevous ones, the storyline is good but, its kind of been there seen that deal. As Gundam goes though, its a must have for fans. DVD extras don't go beyond trailers and textless themes, but its the standard edition.
