I can remember seeing this on TV when it first came out. Such a great story with a great cast!! Definitely worth adding to your movie collection!!

The classic tail of Moby dick one of my favorite with actor Patrick Stewart great movie!

Picture quality is great. This is one of the best Moby Dick films that I have seen so far. Patrick Stewart (aka Capt Picard of the star ship Enterprise) makes a great Capt Ahab. This movie is 3 hours long not the 2 hour version I've seen before.

After seeing this film as a child my son had to watch this movie for school. Seeing how long it was he was not very enthused, but I decided to watch it with him & within the first hour he was hooked by the story. Instead of watching it in 2 nights, we watched it in one sitting..we binge-watched it!! Very enjoyable film. Great story..great characters. Worth another watch!!

my husband and myself love watching this version of Moby disk.

The film was very realistic in the story line and the action. It held my attention all the way from beginning to end. Loved Patrick Stewart's Captain Ahab. Felt sorry for him. But think he got what he really wanted in the end.

A longer, more faithful adaptation— Shakespearean trained Stewart has a blast.
