I’ve had this cable for about a month now and have it living in my car. The 4 foot length is perfect for a sedan but I keep the extra slack rolled up most of the time. (See photo, not sure why the photo is uploading rotated) It works great and as advertised.

I’ve purchased Apple and insignia branded cables in the past and they all eventually split or stop working. So far these have proven to be the most durable. Would definitely recommend this brand.

I should have bought one of these charging cables the first time and I would not have needed to buy about 3 to 4 Apple cables over the last year.

I bought this to replace one in the car and took notice of the sleek cord wrapped around the cable. this item wraps perfectly and appears easy to clean.

I love this cable. I can sit almost anywhere, and still be connected to my charger. This is my 3rd one as my kids keep taking mine.

I had to replace the original cord that came with my iPhone. This one seems durable. So far so good. I like it a lot. I do love how long it is.

The Modal 4' lightning USB charging cable works very well and is a little longer than some cables, but not too long. The price is reasonable.

A friend of mine recommended this cable to me. I received the cable via shipping a few days ago. I used this cable next to me on a side table on my iPad 6. Today I went to pick up my iPad and the cable fell out. I thought the cable had fallen out of the port, or wasn't plugged in properly. I picked up the cable and noticed that the lightning cable head had fallen out. I wish I could give it 0 stars, I will be returning this to my local Best Buy.

Only worked for 3 months. You can see how the end is twisted and frayed.

this 10' cable length is nice, however it only lasted one month. i keep it plugged in to one location in my bedroom and never move it to any other place and i purchased on 11/6/17 and it is not working 12/12/17. I am Upset. The Thick Braiding Does not help. Save Your Money.

I "just" bought this cord and already it is showing me that it is not a good cord. It is doing a lot of bending and fraying at the plug-in port of the Iphone I insert it into. Disappointed!

Purchased this cord less than 2 months ago and broke off at the connector. This cord was too expensive to only last 5 weeks. Don’t waste your money.

I needed a 10 ft USB lightning charger cable. Previous attempts at using long cables to charge an iphone have resulted in low charging rates of 0.5 to 0.2 amps or the iphone saying the charger is not approved and stopping charging completely. I have found that my iphone 5 and my wife's iphone 7 will charge at a maximum of 0.96 amps whether attached to a 1 amp or 2 or more amp charger. Also when they reach 100% the charging rate drops to zero. Long cables usually decrease the charging rate but this 10 ft cord only drops it to 0.93 amps. I was a little concerned but the Best Buy salesperson told me all third-party (not made by Apple) products you buy there are vetted by Best Buy and are safe for your Apple computer. No doubt is safer than getting a non-Apple product on Amazon that could be made anywhere and isn't necessarily as described. That salesperson also told me that braided cables are more durable, but Apple is unlikely to ever start making them that way... I guess they want some built in obsolescence so they can sell more of their own product. This does seem more durable, and it's a good length.

Just like an apple product. Only better cause when that bogus Apple charging cable breaks at the usual spot they ALL break at. You can keep taking this BESTBUY product back EVERY YEAR! Cause they all have 1 year manufacture warranty. So, just set you calendar for, 1 week before and, take it back.

I've used Modal cables fairly frequently in the past. Some have worn down and become finicky about maintaining connection, but it does take a fair bit of time and mild abuse. I can usually count on them lasting at least a year getting crumpled up in bags or crammed awkwardly in the car. This one's fine so far as size, but I have had other cables from Modal with a VERY large connector shroud, making them difficult to use in certain circumstances. Overall, this cable is fine. In my personal experience, properly used OEM cables from Apple/Samsung/etc maintain connection much longer than even these pretty decent 3rd party cables, but they usually cost more, so it's a trade-off.

I found that if you don't spend the extra money for an Apple charging cord they just stop working routinely. The Apple cords never stop working, in my experience anyway. It is kind of crazy how much they charge for a simple charging cord. That must come down, its still over the top, but even so its much better than getting yet another less expensive, no name, charging cord that simply stops working for no apparent reason within a few months, leaving you powerless & without a cell when you least expect it & when you need it the most. As I said before, I guess you either pay now, or you pay latter? Im thinking in this case, when on the road, It's better to be safe, than sorry.

I have had problems with other charging cables not charging my iPad. This cable charges both my iPhone & iPad no problem. The longer cable allows me to plug in the wall and sit on my couch and still have enough cable to place my iPhone anywhere on the couch. Shorter cables limited my iPhone to resting on the back of my couch because the cable wasn't long enough to reach the couch cushion. My previous cables tend to wear and fray at the wire/end-piece junction. This cable has a reinforced, thicker protection sheath at this junction allowing for a longer lasting life span of the cable.

In today's day an age cables are ubiquitous. You would be hard press to find anyone without six or seven of them. What stands out about this cable is that it simply works. I have had other lighting cables that are off just enough that they would continuously loose connection from the iPad pro that I use it with in my car. I even had one with a light on it. Interesting concept but utterly worthless. Modal's braided cable works does not break the bank like Apple's cables and last infinitely longer. (hint you'r crazy if you spend money on Apple Cables... and I'm fully in the Apple ecosystem.) You will not go wrong with this cable.
