I purchased this case to protect my iPad, I've had it less than a month and the case on all four corners began cracking. I carry my iPad in a padded backpack at school, and work, so there is no reason it should be cracking, in my opinion. I took it back to the store where I purchased the product, and they wouldn't return, refund or even exchange for another case because it was a few days passed their 14 days! I would have purchased a more expense case if they would have refunded or given me store credit. I'm disappointed in this policy as I have made several other large purchases, and since have become a little apprehensive and making any future purchases here. Hoping to a solution to this problem as my work relies on this retail business for its technology, and accessories.

This case is nice and sleek. Provides protection without making the iPad bulky.

I speak a lot and my iPad is my chosen tool for that job. it rocks, so it's nice to have something simple & soft to protect it and i love that it's cheaper than the apple cover and covers more. it's elegant for speaking locations as well, not flashy and provides a good grip. Haven't dropped it yet with this cover.

Fits just as well as the Apple branded product. Plus, it's half the cost.

This is sturdy enough to protect from drops but not bulky. Like many cases, the cover can be folded to create a small "tripod" so if you're planning to view movies, etc, on the iPad, you might want a larger case. However, we mostly use it for web surfing (viewed flat) so it's just what we needed.

I bought this to cover my iPad. I don't plan to depend on it for protection from drops etc. The cover fits well and puts my iPad into sleep mode when it is closed. I wish it would do a better job of elevating my iPad when in use. I purchased a stand and wireless key board from another manufacturer that meets that requirement.

This is a nice cover for the ipad, but I think the cost is a little too high for what it does. It is supposed to stand the ipad up which it does but you still have to hold on to it for any type of action or else it falls down. I don't understand why these ipad covers are so high in price and why aren't there more options.

I purchased this case with my iPad Air 2 in November. The iPad has been removed from and replaced in the case fewer than 5 times and has never been dropped or banged around. It is not carried in a bag - we only use it at home. We have no children to handle it roughly. With all that - ALL four corners of this case have completely broken apart in less than 6 weeks. They simply crumbled without reason. The case no longer holds or protects the iPad. I would expect this from a $15 case, but not a $40 one. Really disappointing and really useless.

Like other reviewers, I was happy with this case at first. Also like other reviewers, after about 4 months the corners started chipping off of the case. Now, about 6 months in to owning this case all 4 corners are gone and the tablet easily slips out of the case. If you only need a case for a few months then this is the one for you. If you plan to use your iPad for longer than that I would recommend a different one.

I love it! It was comparatively inexpensive and does everything I need it to do; which is to stand my iPad up and to turn it off when I close it. I was so happy not to have to spend $50 or more on a case when the Modal Smart Case does the trick.

This is reasonably priced and works great. Unlike the other ones that just clip on, this one fits it and won't fall off. Your iPad snaps into it. I have just a cover and it keeps falling off. I highly recommend this.

This is a great cover for protecting your device from scratches, which is exactly what I was looking for. The cover can be folded for multiple viewing angles, it's fairly durable and doesn't make your iPad bulky.

This is our second case of this brand. They hold up very well and do shut down the device on closing. Provides adequate protection against short drops to the floor. No complaints, but would give it more stars if the price were cheaper.

Fits iPad Air 2 correctly and the magnetic strip puts the iPad to sleep as advertised. Plastic corners holding the iPad in place seem to chip rather easily, as I've noticed two small chunks missing and the only place I've stored it is in my work bag.

Makes a good stand, but collects A LOT of dust. It seals shut with a magnet which is nice but I would still make a diving attempt to safe my iPad if I dropped in while in this thing. Seems a little flimsy but it works fine if you're careful not to drop it
